WFDT? Roast beef and cheddar sandwiches in the car on the way to band. Using up the rest of our prime rib dinner from Friday.

Nancy - your evening sounds divine! I loved the photos, you looked amazing and on cloud 9! Pentago is where I used to work, so it lost its appeal very quickly when I had to go thru all of that everyday, but it was nice to go to a retirement ceremony for a friend.
Alison - normal - that is my new goal! lol

Work is just work no matter where it is located. I think.

My husband has been craving spaghetti and meatballs. I planned it for one night this week, but I make terrible meatballs, so it is meat sauce adn I am using a fresh polish sausage.

I just ate a bunch of cookies. So that will be dinner. My husband has a work dinner - so steak for him.

I am not sure who won the dinner in your family! LOL! I like steak but on a rainy day when I am alone...cookies and tea sounds great!

Incredibly cold and wet in Melbourne today. It's about 10 C, and it feels like it's 8 C. There was hail and rain and just cold, cold, cold.

Dinner tonight was at my mother's place. Rice, pork cutlets, stir fry vegetables and soup. Comfort food at it's best. YUM!

It is cold and rainy here today and dh and dd have requested the left over spaghetti. I am having something at work. They are providing dinner and I don't know what it is.

I just spent the last three hours in a vacant apartment, showing it every half an hour. I have to go back at 5PM (if the person calls and confirms.

Dinner tonight is Mahi Mahi, Israeli cous cous, and spinach. Hey I just noticed we're eating a double double word meal!

Morning everyone. It was a little rainy this morning but the sun is now shining and I see blue sky. I have to head to the post office today (remember those days???) and snail mail something. As it is Thursday, I'm expecting to be in line with the pensioner crowd. Thursdays are the days when the social security payments hit the accounts.

WFDT? I have no idea....but the thought of spaghetti is sounding delicious (thanks Pooh's mate).

PIO- it was gloomy and gray here all day, so I made a vegetable barley soup with ham. Buddy had burgers! Lol! Imagine that!

Poohs mate- I'm planning spaghetti for Friday or Saturday night.

Today I got my red wines racked and on Friday I'll start the whites for Debbie's wedding. She choose fruity whites so they can be used as soon as I bottle them. I'm a little worried about the reds, they really need to age longer than I'm giving them. I will tell Deb to pack plenty of aeraters

I was hoping that I wouldn't get the call. After I showed the place to several people we went to the old place and moved stuff from one room to another. My feet hurt.

Instead of Mahi Mahi tonight I'm going to make one of those "just add water" soup mixes. Fran picks these out when we go to funny grocery stores. And when we were out for breakfast she bought us this. Dinner will really be mostly this:

Oh my! I'm so glad I didn't see this before I headed out to the post office. I had to walk past one of those continental cake shops and they had lots of these sorts of goodies in the window. I figured I needed to be good and just kept going. But if I'd seen this, I would have so stopped in to get a treat to 'virtually' enjoy with you.

My shabu place was replaced with a ramen noodle bar, which subsequently went out of business.
