Hi all,
I'm not a regular poster but I read daily!! Hope you don't mind me posting my PTR? I'm probably going to have loads of questions so I would really be thankful if someone could answer them
You may remember a few weeks ago I posted that my DH had been made redundant an I wasn't sure whether we were going to cancel our magical trip or not. Well thats the reason for the trip title - things are on the up now
and "we're going no matter what!"
Cast:
Me - Love Mickey (hence the username lol) but I also love ALL the Disney movies, can watch them over and over! Will be celebrating my Birthday whilst we're there! My 4th time to DLP.
DH - Loves The Jungle Book and Peter Pan, not as much of a Disney-Nut as me! His 2nd time to DLP.
DS - Mad on Toy Story, Peter Pan, Cars and Monsters Inc. Although he also loves the Princesses, TinkerBell etc. Usually we sit and watch Disney Cinemagic all day on a Sunday
His FIRST time to DLP - I can't wait to see his face!!!!
Plan:
We're going on the Eurostar from Ashford on 9th March and returning on the 11th, staying at Santa Fe.
We're planning on staying in Ashford the night before too. As soon as we arrive we'll be dumping out bags at the Express desk and running for the park
We're planning on eating at Cafe Mickey on the 9th, Annettes on the 10th and Pizza Planet on the 11th for Lunch. Other Lunches will be baguettes from the station shop (any idea how much these are?)
Rides:
Any I can get DS on!!! He is usually pretty adventurous usually!
Other bits:
I'm hoping to sample some of the cocktails whilst we're there - is there a bar at the Santa Fe? Would my DS be allowed in there?
What type of clothes should I pack? I'm hoping so, so much it won't snow!
Will it be safe to leave our passports etc back at the hotel room within our luggage?
Sorry for all the questions!!!
I bought my DS a Cars backpack from the Disney Store sale last year and I'm planning on filling it with goodies for the journey. He is also taking his Buzz, Woody and Captain Hook costumes, he'll probably want to take his other costumes too lol.
Think I'd better leave it there for now, hope it isn't too long
