The weekend's here! I need extra support. Who else does?

It's the weekend when I'm home with that kitchen full of inviting "stuff".

I weigh in on Tuesday, so I can't afford to blow it but boredom eating overtakes me almost every weekend and I mindlessly eat.

I could use the extra support ....how about anyone else?

Maybe we can support each other?
 
Sure...I will keep you out of the kitchen if you force me to work out and drink my water. I am religious about both during the week, but when the weekend comes they both go out the window. :( :( I am lucky if I walk during the weekend lately!! So please feel free to kick me into doing something .....
 
I definitely need lots of support this weekend...My DH will be gone most of the weekend, so it will just be me and the kids...which means I will tempted to eat whatever they have!:rolleyes:

I can get through this...I will just come to WISH whenever I feel the need to eat a sweet!! :)
 
Weekends are always the hardest for me. I spend too much time with the "convenience" of the kitchen available...makes it hard not to graze or overeat. So I could use the support too. :)
 

Me too...it'll be a dreary rainy weekend stuck inside. Movies tomorrow w/ DD. However will I stay away from that delicious popcorn and soda?!
 
I was coming on to post a similar thread myself! I survived a movie last night, tucked a pria bar in my purse but it really didn't last long ;)

I told DH last night that we are not going out to eat this weekend! That should help too!

Otherwise I plan on making the same choice I make during the week, why is the weekend so much harder! Good thing we're in this together!
 
I have the same issue on weekends. It just seems like without the structure of the week day, I am out of snyc. If you check out my journal you will see that I don't accomplish my goals.

What I am trying to do for this weekend is to set the structure.

Sat
8:00 - 4:30 DD school fair. I need to stay away from the cook table (DH and his friends are doing the cooking)

6:00 - 7:30 church.

8:00 - bed - do some paperwork at home (This is going to be the tough time. I wish there was somewhere I could walk at night)

Sun

10:00 - 11:00 walk

12:00 - 2:00 meet with a client

3:00 - 6:00 political phone calling

6:30 - 8:00 meet with a client

8:00 - 11:00 do some paperwork at home

I am going to try hard not to blow it. I also get weighed on Tuesday at the Dr. I really want to do well. No specific weigh loss, just something.

I find I have more time for walking on the wknds.

But it's the water that I dont drink so much of. Im usually on the go on wknds so not near a bathroom as easily as through the week.
 
My weigh day is Tuesday as well- and last weigh day I didn't lose an ounce!! (I didn't gain either so I was okay with that) But we're having thunderstorms all weekend and it's hard to fit my 5 mile walk in- the Y limits you to 30 minutes on the treadmill so I can't do it there- unless I cheat and go to the next treadmill :eek:

AND my mother volunteered my house for a family cookout for my brother's birthday- she didn't want "all those kids" at her house again- so I obliged and I've got to make a chocolate cake and a salad- what a combo! PLEASE keep me focused on the Tuesday weigh in!!!

Thanks guys- sending loads of well wishes and pixie dust- and for goodness sake someone kick that BLOAT FAIRY off the premises!!

WOW! I weigh in on Tuesday also amd I have a terrible time with weekends.

I've made it worse because I'm coming off of two bad days (eating and exercise)! So now I have to do really well this weekend. I'm hoping to maintain my weight on Tuesday.

Here's my plan: I'm going to clean closets today. My sister has my kids, so I can actually do this. This will keep my hands busy. I have to focus on drinking water. I do great during the week, but stumble on weekends. I'm going to treadmill 2 miles this morning and do a fast mile this evening to make up for 2 days without.

Hope it works! I know I can do this. I'm determined. :D
 
I'm always ready to offer my support to my fellow wishers.

I have to say that it is days like this, though, when I am very thankful for ketogenesis. No appetite saves me from having trouble on the weekends (and every other day too).

Hang in there, my friend. I'm sure that your WW buddies will have some great advice for you. I just wanted you to know that I was thinking of you and I know you can make it through the weekend. You are determined to do it, I can tell :)
 
Thanks for the support and good thoughts. I'm here for all of you too.

I am over points today but I think it's OK because I mowed the lawn and did about 2 hrs of gardening so I think I covered it.

But the weekend still has a little over one day to go.

Hopefully I'll get out of the house tomorrow and get some walking in.

Glo, consider this a kick---be sure to get your water in and exercise. ;)

I mostly stuck with my plan today. Did 3 miles on treadmill, drank plenty of water (like 150 oz.), cleaned out the closets, and did not over eat.

One more day to go!!!
