The Weekend Grind ~ 1/10/15 - 1/11/15

Good Morning..

Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need.

Looks like another batch of crazy weather is going to come in.. The timeline to come in on Sunday changes from 10AM to 3PM or it could come in after 8PM. It could be snow, it could be ice, it could be freezing rain... so to us... IT is a safety issue so we are leaving shortly to take DS18 back to campus.

Unfortunately, it's a day less with DS18... and DD has some of her last day of RA training so we won't get to see her either...

So today's agenda:

take DS18 back to campus
lunch out
take him grocery shopping
remind him of his things to do on Monday
transfer two post bound albums into 3-ring binder albums
attempt to scrap 2 pages today


Sunday:

get up and scrap all day
DS14 to finalize his science paper/DH to edit for last time/print and put in folder to turn in on Monday (4 days early)
call and check in on college kids

Morning. Safe travels this weekend for out in the cold. I think the bad weather is done here for now. Just cold with some blowing. Yesterday we had white conditions. Glad my morning commute is only two minutes. Five on a bad day


Busy weekend so I need to get moving today.


Clean boy's bathroom
Clean my bathroom. done
Clean half bath
Shovel deck because two feet of snow is not safe
Dust main floor
Take memory card to Walgreens and print pics
Find storage containers for ornaments I am making for the kids. done
Pack up ornaments that are made. done


Should keep me busy with the other things we have going today.

Good evening!

We are home.. hated taking my DS18 back to college.. However, he is now safe on campus.. and so is sister (she's been there since Monday night).

According to latest weather we could get .25" or .35" of ice and then 1-2" of snow tomorrow into Monday... so who knows what will happen...

I know tomorrow we are not leaving the house.. I am going to scrap all day and sort the photos I just got and start picking photos for other Disney trips because I have free photos to order by the end of the month.

- math assignment
- math test
- photoshop paper
- clean off the dining room table
- practice making t-shirt

I am having neck pain - I think I slept wrong so it should be an interesting day!

Good luck disneyjes getting your list done.. Take it easy with that neck pain.


Need to have the boys prep the house.. they are now calling for an Ice Storm Warning for us. Glad we took our son back to school early. Ice first and then snow... so who knows what tomorrow will bring... I hope they cancel school... we have built in days so no stress about figuring out how to make them up.

So adjustment to my plans for the day:

get up and scrap all day

put away Christmas decorations
prep for ice storm (fill tub w/ water; pull candles out; prep a few extra meals)

DD called me yesterday so the bathrooms did not get done. Doubt it will happen today so maybe during the week. I am sure the boy's is disgusting but they know how to clean if need be.

Today is football and laundry. Maybe the gym.
