The week after Fathers Day

Did anyone have problems with getting a room onsite or close to the park for June 18-22?

I didn't have trouble...only thing was the price...hehehehe!! I actually got two reservations...I called Candy Cane Inn and reserved 2 standard rooms...total was about 159.00 a night for each room (your EXACT days).
I then got on tripadvisor and looked through the prices/offers for BWPPI, Tropicana, and Carousel...I ended up with 2 standard rooms (not suites) for 143.30 a night.
Are you having trouble? I know the hotels are filling up but I did all this within the last 5 days. Let me know if you need any help

We did finally get our rooms, maybe they were holding them for some reason. Back in March alot of the hotels said they were "booked up". But now I see that there are some openings. See you guys there!!!

Try Expedia, Travelocity and Hotel.com. Sometimes they have rooms onsite left after Disney is sold out directly. They sell large blocks of rooms to these types of sites and sometimes there will still be some availablity. And actually, its sometimes good to check those sites for offsite hotels too. Yup, had this problem about a month and a half ago, but scored DLH through Get Away Today. Just looked on their site and they don't have any Disney hotel but Grand Californian. Other hotels have rooms available though.

We have a room at the Embassy Suites South. However, we decided after reading different post that since it's our DS3 first time it might be better to stay onsite at the DLH. (Bad and late planning on my part, I guess ) Today I tried calling Disney, searching expedia,travelocity, hotels.com and get away today without any luck. Does anyone have any other suggestions? If not, I guess we'll just keep checking. Who knows, we might get really lucky! Has anyone ever lucked out and found a room closer to the date of travel? Thanks for the advice!

The DLR website said that there were no rooms for those days. When we called they found us a room. This was weeks ago. It was strange that when I went on other sites they also said the rooms were booked. Two more months can't wait!!! We are flying from Sac (only about an hour flight) where is everyone else coming from?

Hey, we're going the same days and we're from the same area...we're here in Folsom but will be driving down and visiting family in addition to our Disney trip! How funny

That's cool!! Some people from Northern California!!! We normally drive but the plane tickets were so cheap and we paid for them before Thanksgiving, it feels like we are not even paying for plane tickets. I am more excited then my son!!!
