The weather in March????

We are thinking of taking our to Disney the begining of March for her birthday. Can anyone tell me what the weather is like then. Is it warm enough to swim??? Does is rain a lot??

We were there this year from March 8-13 and we had beautiful weather. We only had one brief rain storm. The temps during the day were 85 and it was sunny. We went swimming and even took a swim in the evening.

Weather wise March is generally a great time to be down here in FL. Hurricane season runs June 1 - Nov.30 so rain is usually at a minimum unlike the frequent afternoon storms of the summer time. Temperature can go either way though - can be on the cooler side around 65-70 or on the higher side more like in the high 80's to 90's. Either way temps should be enjoyable just if on the higher side you may get more pool time in. The biggest factor I'd plan around is that March is Spring break and Easter break time so I'd be careful to plan around the high crowd time. Spring break time can be busier than the busiest point of summer and if it does get into the higher temps you'll be waiting on lines in the heat. HTH's, good luck with your planning

We were there the first week of March this year and had perfect weather (sun, low 80s) the whole trip. We did not find the crowds bad at all, except MK on the weekend (but that's to be expected). We are already planning next year's trip for the same week (3/1-3/8)!
