We have it on right now!!:bounce: :D Looks so nice there! But, I'm enjoying the snow. The kids are ready to go skiing!!;)

Anyone else watching? Boy, it looks alittle crowded there too!!;) :D

Yeah...we are watching....and if you look closely and know exactly where to watch you can see US standing on the curb.....the best shot has been of Scuttle though.....:D :D :D

What was with Minnie in the leggings and sweatshirt???!!!

(Sorry to say, but she looked -- horrors!! -- like a person with a Minnie Mouse head on....) :(

Other than that, the show was great and boy, was I wishing I was there!!!

I taped it for later...no time for it this morning :teeth:

I thought the parade was wonderful!!! I really liked the beginning with all the princesses and the 2 (mom and daughter) that sang the princess songs were fantastic!!!:D

Snow White-

They were Andrea McCardle, the original Broadway Annie and more recent Broadway Belle, and her daughter Alexis Kalehoff. I was suprised to see them on the show-the tv guide didn't mention them. And doesn't Alexis looks a little bit like Belle?:D

Wendy - the parade was filmed Dec. 7. It was nice there, but a little on the chilly side. A cold front had come through the day before.

When they filmed, they did so with each individual float. I wasn't a "parade". The floats and people came out individually and did their segment until it was "right".

That's why last year when it was pouring rain in WDW, it was nice and sunny on the TV!

We watched it and it made me nostalgic for the Christmas' we've spent at WDW.

I want to go back...

I watched it. I really want to spend Christmas in the world!!

Last Jan. I made plans to spend Christmas 2002 at WDW. Last April my sister said she wanted to take her kids for Christmas 2003. I changed our trip to Thanksgiving so that son and I could go with my sister's family in 2003. When school started in Sept. and I saw how much work son would miss if I took him out in November so I changed the trip to Easter 2003. Last week we had a meeting with my son's Japanese teacher and found out how much the trip to Japan will cost. There's no way we can got to WDW in April and Japan in June. I called today and changed the April trip to Christmas 2003. I'm not changing again, come what may, my son and I will celebrate Christmas at WDW!!

OH, my sister told me she's not sure if they are going to do the "disney thing" in 2003. She wants to know why I'm asking her about that now.

I loved the parade! Really makes me want to spend Christmas at WDW some year!

I absolutly LOVED that they had the cast of Festival of the Lion King on! I taped that part, that made my day! (That and Jonny Rzeznek singing I'm Still Here- Whoo!)

It was interesting seeing how they taped the parade. We showed up right in time to see the actual parade, but missed all the taping of the float segments. It's probably good I didn't know John Rzeznik would be taping there that day or I would have been on a mission to see him perform. Then I would have missed all the fun with MSkanga.

Sherry I will have to look at my tape to see if I can find you. I need to look for skuttle and the zurgs as well, now that I know where to find all of you. We saw the taping from AK that day and watched them set up the shot with the bird but they shooed us off.

I'm so disgusted! I knew it started at 11:00 so I ran in the family room at 10:55 to get the VCR ready, taped it and figured I would watch it in the evening, after everyone had left and it was nice and quiet again. I did have the TV on in the kitchen while I cooked so caught bits and pieces, but knew I would be watching it later....nope!! Stupid VCR didn't record right. Something HAS to be wrong, as this is the third VCR we've hooked up to the TV and when it records it just doesn't record RIGHT. It's like it tries to find a speed to record and can't decide which one!! GRRRRR!! The first VCR it did it on I thought it was the VCR, wasn't sure with the second one, but hooking a THIRD one up it HAS to be a problem SOMEWHERE other than the VCR but I have NO IDEA WHAT IT COULD BE!! I just know that I'm very, very upset about it and HATED to miss the parade!!!!

I kept yelling everytime they'd cut to a clip of WDW... My poor family should know what is what at WDW now without ever having been there... LMAO...:jester:

Just in case anyone missed it (oh, maybe, Chattyholic) - I will send you a copy of it (commercials, except for WDW ones, edited out) if you want! I cried watching it, having just come back on the 21st - kinda depressing and surreal to watch it during "vaca letdown" time! But I loved it, nonetheless.

2yo DD and I watched it together in awe! We were at the World in Nov. so its still on DD's mind and she kept exclaiming "again, again" during the entire parade!!! And everytime a Castle shot came on she called out, "Castle, Princesses, eat" "again" She loved our breakfast at CRT as did we.

I really loved Andrea McArdle and her daughter singing together. The parade was wonderful!

You could tell it was colder weather as many people had on sweatshirts, but I thought it seemed to add to the "holiday" feel. And even in colder weather, those sunny skies were calling to me!!!!!!!

All I can say is... I WANNA GO TO WDW!!! Watching was great, but it just ain't the same as being there! ;) I especially enjoyed seeing Andrea McArdle and her daughter. They both sound great. I remember being in awe of Andrea as a kid. Watching her on the Mike Douglas Show and wishing I could be a Broadway kid too.

We forgot about the parade being on:( even with mentioning it to each other the day before. I got so caught up in making the pies for Christmas that we missed it.:(

while watching the parade, i kept looking for lime green ribbons!!! and didn't see any!!!!!!!!!!

I saw all but the last 30 minutes.
I was looking for lime green ribbons, too. :teeth: Didn't see any. :(
