The WDW "Bubble" is my favorite intangible

We've all heard that we can be ourselves when we are in the WDW bubble; but sometimes I forget. I found a rare picture of my husband with a hat; and it's not his usual baseball hat.

I love when he wears this one; but he will only wear it once in a blue moon. I have to pester him enough.
The reason is that he says that he dislikes bringing attention to himself. However, this is the same man that when we go to WDW, will wear all types of hats:. Mickey Mouse, Goofy, you name it. The Disney bubble is intangible, but probably my main reason for returning, even after all these years.

This is what I love about the Disney parks. You see all these full grown men walking around wearing the silliest hats but you know once they're home the Goofy hat goes into the drawer and the baseball cap comes out.
It really is a special place isn't it?

The bubble is why we always stay onsite. It is why we can wear our "goofy" tshirts, mouse ears, and hats. No one judges We can wander around and be kids again! There is no age restriction on Dumbo or Peter Pan. It's a place to forget the worlds problems, our own problems and relax and just do what we want. Whatever you do, it's always a treat.
So, yes, I agree!

Well said! For just a few days one gets to be a child again. Whether you splurge or not; whether you go deluxe or not; whether you buy any souvenirs or not... we get to just relax and have fun.

Yep, we love our bubble. It's full of memories, both good and bad, for my son and I and our go to place when either of us need a pick me up. We don't care if it's crowded, we don't care if we have to wait for a hour to ride a ride, we don't care if we don't get to ride a ride, we don't care if it's raining or cold or hotter than the 7th level of Hades, that bubble makes it all o.k.

As a friend of mine says: "You're never too old to enjoy your childhood." We love the bubble too

I wish i could take a pic when he is wearing a fun hat, but he is not keen on the idea. He states that "what happens in Disney, stays in Disney"
