I was worried I was going to have them on when I turned 21, but THANK GOD they took 'em off 2 weeks before my birthday. WOO. That was a reliever. I had a glistening smile when I got my first legal drink. TOOOOO cool for school.

I feel you guys though on getting hit in the mouth. I like to play rough with my dog because he's pretty big. We wrestle a lot and there would be times he would fling his head back and get me in the mouth. Good god that would hurt with braces on. I always had a bloody lip when I rough housed with him! I guess I was lucky, I only had mine on a little under 2 years.

Just a big FYI, TODAY is my last day on the DIS. Tomorrow is the beginning of lent BoO! I know. SOOO hopefully I'll post up all the pics, but if I don't, SORRY!

The question is, do you have the e-mail alert feature enabled for your subscribed threads, so that if anything new is posted you will see it in your e-mail? You may be able to stay informed (without cheating and going on DIS) for a couple of days that way, but I have found that unless one keeps actively posting on some thread or other, all the e-mail alerts will stop coming after a day or two. So eventually, DIS will fade away entirely! It should be interesting, though, being away for so long and then coming back on here. I imagine new people will have joined, there will be new hot threads, new controversial threads, probably the same character dining and Haunted Mansion Holiday questions another 20 times each, new pictures posted on the Picture of the Day thread......it will almost be like you are joining a whole new board!!

I can imagine the e-mail alert would be too tempting, because if you were reading one of them and saw a post that was worthy of a comment, or just ridiculous, it would be hard to resist logging on 'just for a second' and replying!
