Hello Hello Everyone!

For all who do not know me, I've been gone from the DIS for lent and I'm officially back and ready to go! My name is Jasmine and I've been doing Disney Inspired makeup with my cousin Kaycee on a thread we've created a while back that has been MOVED to the Disneyland Community Thread (it will take me a while to get used to this... oh and I don't think I'm too excited about it ). So since I've been gone from the DIS, I've rounded up MORE DL trips and I'm not too sure which ones I've said that I'm going to go on, so I'm going to recap them all right now. As of today, I have 4 trips planned up to July! I can't believe it! I'm soo excited The nearest one to right now is my 24th birthday trip !!

THE BIG 24 !! Friday May 15th - Sunday May 17th:

The cast (so far):

Dad- Cisan
Mom- Linda
Mom's oldest brother- Uncle Ken
Mom's oldest broher's wife- Aunt Yong
Mom's other older brother- Uncle Rich
.. and possibly a "lady friend" of Uncle Rich's haha

At first, this trip was just so I could enjoy having my b-day @ DL and to also get the fantastic fun card I soo want that! (Oh btw, my birthday is on the 16th) Then, it kind of turned into a mini family trip because my mom was talking about it in front of her brothers and they guilted her into inviting them ! haha I kind of don't mind because she explained to them that I wanted the fun card and they mentioned they would give me "fun money" as well! WOO! I'm always down for that! Initially, I REALLY wanted to have a meal over at Woody' Roundup, but I've changed my mind . I wanted to go there because I remember eating there as a little kid with Kaycee :

and I completely wanted to relive that experience... then I remembered who was coming with me and I remembered that everyone is really picky on how they spend their money and I'd rather them NOT complain about the experience AS it is happening, so I'm just going to dodge that bullet and wait for another trip to come along to enjoy it. So I booked the rooms for us over at Desert Inn & Suites because I can't get the rate at HoJo's and if I can't, I want to be across the street. This time I booked a suite with two beds, the jacuzzi and fold out couch. I'm pretty stoked about the jacuzzi We are driving on Friday morning (hopefully around 3-4 A.M) and we are driving back on Sunday night. OH and also, I have a final on Monday after. Don't ask my why I'm being ridiculous and am going to DL when I should be studying for finals. HAHA. Other than that, my main goals are to draw as much attention to myself for my birthday and take a MILLION pictures (as usual).

Finals are OVER ! Thursday May 21st - Sunday May 24th:

SOoo, my cousin put in his vacation time for the weekend after my birthday... so thats right, I'm going to DL two weekends in a row! Its CRAZY. This time the cast is somewhat obscure to me...

So far, they tell me I'll get along with their friends and I'm totally down because one of them has timeshare for the Wyndham Hotel and we'll pay like $8 a night per person to stay there So its VERY inexpensive! We're also driving for this trip and I'm totally stoked about that because we're going to split gas cost. A bunch of them haven't been to DL in a long time so this will be a lot of fun to get everyone to see DL again after so many years. I don't have a huge agenda here but to have a good time. I still want to take amazing pictures; but I also have Kerri (pixiewings71) and a friend of mine there the same weekend, so I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to arrange a meet to see them!

You have a lot of catching up to do......I finally finished my TR from our March 7-14 trip & then we ended up going back April 5-8.....so get crackin'!!! only if you want to.........

It is always interesting to go with different groups of people to DLR. I have gone with more or less the same folks on the last several trips, as you know, but in the old days we may have had more people along, or swapped someone out for someone else, or there were times when I was there with groups of 11 people or 8 people....it is just kind of interesting to see how the different groups and different mesh together, and if it makes it more fun or really difficult. Sometimes it can be a disaster trying to corral everyone or organize a 'let's split up and we will see you later' plan just to be able to do what YOU want to do, and sometimes it can be a LOT of chaotic fun - where there is no real plan or organization in place of any kind, and it's just kind of a hysterical free-for-all getting around the park from ride to ride. So it will be cool that you have 4 trips close together with some different people thrown in the mix, and you can kind of compare which one was the most successful and fulfilling, which one was the least organized, which one was the most difficult, the most fun overall, etc.

MAKEUP TWINSOULS TRIP!!!:

SOOO Kaycee and I are heading over to LA to check out the IMATS (International Makeup Artists Trade Show) and we're completely excited about this! Since we will be there we figure, what the heck, we might as well stop by Disneyland since we're there. So we're goign to leave early in the morning and go straight to Disneyland on Friday. We're only going to DL for the day (boo, but its better than nothing), so we're going to leave from my house reallllly early in the morning and head straight to DL. (OH and we've been calling each other twinsouls for years now haha). That weekend we are also celebrating her dad's birthday so I'm not sure exactly what we're going to do, but we're definitely going to spend time with her parents during that weekend. SOO that means that DL on one day, IMATS on the other, and the last day with the fam. Its reaaallly short, but I still count it

FINALLY, Eric & I are going on a trip on our own and I'm stoked about it because we haven't done that in about 2 years. He has 4th of July off and wants to take advantage of having a Sat & Sun off, so he took off a couple of more days and we're going to be at DL from the 3rd - 6th. I know its going to be packed, but we're already expecting that (and Eric LOVES it when its busy, IDK why ). So, I think we're going to stay at Desert Inn & Suites again. Other than that, we are open to plans

I have a little bit of an update from the last time I posted. SOOOO, what I thought was going to be a trip with just my fiancee and I is now a family trip with his sisters and his mom which I'm not disappointed about because his mom and his youngest sister have NEVER been to Disneyland !! Not to mention that his youngest sister is only in elementary school so it will be exciting to see DL through the eyes of a child. I'm sooo stoked about that. Not to mention getting his mom on the ToT and sitting next to her. I can't wait to hear her scream HAHAHAHA

One of my main goals for my upcoming trips is getting these :

I also want to get a new sweater because I haven't had a Disney sweater to show off to the world after I get home!

I didn't see those dang vinylnation guys anywhere. I found the bigger ones, but not the smaller ones. I only really looked at the Greetings store in DCA though.

Okay, OT question. Do you have a Cosmetic Company Outlet near you? I'm tempted to go after work, there's one right across the street... Hmm... Should I go?

The closest one to me is Gilroy, so thats like 30 minutes away

You should DEFINITELY go to the CCO. They sell MAC stuff there too ! Totally worth it

UPDATE:

So, I haven't registered for my birthday fun card. Anyone have any directions I can do to make sure I get one?

For the second May trip, there might be a chance that we're not going with some of my cousin's co-workers because the one with timeshare had a heart attack last weekend (and he's only 24 ! its crazy.). So I asked my cousin's wife to talk to them to see if its a good idea for him to be going to DL just a month after the incident. So, if that doesn't work out, we need to find another place to stay. If that happens, the number of people will go from 9 to 5. I don't really mind because it will pretty much just be family and we get along soo well

I was looking and at the Tropicana Inn, we can get a rate of $119 a night and its right across the street! Right now we're just aiming for a good rate. that means it will be $59 for the weekend per person We need to find out though as soon as possible so we can better prepare.
