The Wave or Grand Floridian Cafe

My mom and in are trying to decide between these two for a 645 reservation on Nov 23

Could I please get some comments on the two and which people think is better

Ps we are on the dining plan

I haven't been to the Wave but GFC is simply a beautiful setting and the food is good. It would be my first choice but I would suggest checking the menus

We came back from our most recent trip 2 weeks ago. For years I have been a huge fan of the Wave, both for breakfast and dinner. I have always considered it a hidden gem. Well, we went to both GFC and the Wave on our trip and GFC was MUCH better. We ended up having dinner at GFC twice and breakfast once since we were so happy with the food and service. In past years the service at GFC has been quite slow, but not on this trip. We only had dinner at the Wave this trip.

I really believe these things can be hit or miss and I always recommend people look at the menus and see what appeals to them the most, but for us based on our most recent trip, we preferred the GFC.

Both are really good, but we like The Wave over Grand Floridian Cafe for no particular reason except The Wave seems more casual. The food is very good at both so in our opinion, you can't go wrong with either selection.

I don't think one is better than the other. I would look at each of the menus and see what appeals to you more.

Never tried the Wave but have enjoyed GFC a few times.
