My 2 dds are going on the Pirate Cruise out of the Grand Floridian. They are gone from 9:30-11:30. We have the chance to have breakfast with our son (turning 3 during trip). Which one would you recommend for a breakfast given our time constraints?

Whilst you have not mentioned it, if you are on the DDP I would definately vote for Kona Cafe as the breakfast menu looks great, is comprehensive and is usually more expensive.

I would usually suggest The Wave because I have read a lot of great reviews about it, however since you will already be at the Grand Floridian wouldn't it make more sense to try the Grand Floridian Cafe?

Thanks to recommendations on DIS, we tried GFC in May and liked it so much we went 3x. We'll be back for two breakfasts in Oct. Pretty view and a relaxed setting, especially if you eat late. Food's delicious too - Vanilla-maple french toast - yum!!

According to the menu on allears they have this

Eggs Benedict - served with a Choron Sauce $10.99; served with a Petit Filet $17.99

Can you get the Eggs Benedict with the petit filet on the dining plan?

I would say The Wave, but it seems easier just to stay at GF and eat at the cafe instead since you have to be there for the Pirate Cruise. This way your not running all over the place. If time weren't an issue I'd definitely pick The Wave though.

I say GFC...they have incredible eggs benedict!

I was wondering the same thing. Did you ever find out?

I have to say the GFC breakfast has some amazing options. They have a stuffed crossiant that looked terrific but I settled on the lobster eggs benedict....YUM! The dining room is bright and cheery...perfect for a relaxing breakfast/brunch.
