The Wave - New Restaurant at CR?

Does anyone know anything about the new restaurant coming to the Contemporary? I think it is called the Wave.

I don't know much, but I know it will be open when we go there for free dining in Sept. We plan to make a ressie.

I hope others will say more.

Does anyone know anything about the new restaurant coming to the Contemporary? I think it is called the Wave.

The Wave will be officially opening on June 30th and you can now make ADR's for the restaurant. The Wave is located on the 1st floor of the Tower in the location of the former Food & Fun Center. It's rumored that The Wave willl have a soft opening beginning on June 1.

Here's the menu that Walt Disney World released several weeks ago. This menu may change prior to the opening of The Wave -

Wave Menu

BREAKFAST
Make your own classic Bircher Muesli, Spinach Tomato and Onion Omelet
Multigrain Mickey Waffle, Eggs Benedict, Homemade Granola.

-Featuring Organic Columbian Coffee that is shade grown, fair trade and
bird friendly.

-Beta Berry Smoothie – Raspberries Non-Fat Yogurt, Peach, Mango and
Honey, Antioxidant Vitamins, C, E and Beta-carotene
-Supercharged Tropical Smoothie – A blend of Tropical Fruit Juices,

I was wondering about this place too but now that I see their dinner menu, I'm not very impressed. Surely they would have more options than that?

There is still a chance the menu could be changed before it opens so we just got to wait and see and for those with kids that are thinking of eating there, they have not come out with their kids menu yet.

I don't understand why they need to do away with Concourse, the one meal we had there was great! Plus it was quiet and there wasn't many people there.



I think I just answered my own question. LOL

Also, it looks like they are trying to shove healthy foods down our throats again. Yay.

Someone over on allearsnet recently ate at Concourse Steakhouse and the Chef's are now trying out some of the new dishes which will be served at The Wave. It appears that they're trying out some items that aren't included on the menu that Disney released.
