I thought I read somewhere that the plan is for The Wave to be open at CR by late winter early Spring 2008. Does anyone know if they are taking reservations yet for that time period? Thanks!

the restaurant that is "replacing" the Concourse Steakhouse at the CR. It will be located where the old Food and Fun Center used to be (a place whre I spent much of my childhood. ).

Here is a post from crazy4wdw which states that the opeining of the Waive is going to be delayed.

Disney is behind on its initial schedule for the rehabs at the CR. The new shop was supposed to be completed in August and the construction didn't start until Sept. It's rumoured that they're hoping to have it completed before Thanksgiving. Disney has not started construction of The Wave yet. They just submitted construction permits to Orange County. Its now thought that The Wave will most likely not open until mid to late summer 2008 which would delay the construction of Chef Mickey's Express.

I'm not familiar with that source. I assume it's been accurate in the past? I was hoping to try The Wave during our May trip. Sounds like probably not. Thanks very much for the info.! I appreciate it!

It's being reported that the WDW cast have been informed that the last day of operation for the Concourse Steakhouse is May 10th. It's being assumed that The Wave will open on May 11th. If this schedule happens, it will give Disney about three months to get Chef Mickey's Express open by August 15th.

Assuming that info is correct, it's good to know if my family and I decide to stay at the Contemporary next summer around that time since it's usually when we would go to WDW.
