The Wave - 2 Tables for 6?

We are a family of 6 and I am considering going to the Wave for dinner. When I go to make a reservation online it states we may be at more than one table. Does anyone have experience with this? Are they not able to put two tables together? Thanks.

Wouldn't worry about it: that disclaimer shows up even when you book a table for 2 (I've even seen solo diners posting that it showed up on their bookings...splitting a party of 1...not a pretty image)

Think that's an automatic statement so they cover their rears just in case.

Last time we ate at The Wave (Sept.2009) there were two huge family groups there -- like 12, so yes, they have no trouble pushing tables together to accomodate different sized parties. It's a very open place, and plenty of room to move tables around.

the Wave accommodated our party of 9 with no problem. We had a big round table that was perfect for us!

We at dinner at The Wave last August. We were actually a party of 4 and a party of 3 (two separate reservations). Because we were travelling together, we were seated all at one table even though we were prepared to be split apart. The restaurants will try and seat you altogether.

We are a family of 6 and in all our years of visiting, have never been seperated. Sometimes I am told that they had to give me a table of 4 and then 2 but when we arrived we were all together.

Mind you, there are times that I would have liked to sit the children at another table, but thats a different story.

You will have absolutely no problem with 6. Enjoy your meal at The Wave. It's one of my personal favorites!
