The Walking Dead on AMC

I don't really think there was a whole lot of time that passed between Rick returning without Carol and the governors attack was there? Just a few days? It seemed so much longer because of the two governor only episodes, but those took place in the past, before the Rick/Carol episode. I think if she was there all along, she would have jumped in to help fight.

I don't think they ever took her name out of the opening credits.

Yeah, she's been in the opening credits all season. Norman Reedus even tweeted a screenshot of it after the premiere to congratulate her for it. I think it was some actors union/contract thing that kept her from being bumped up sooner, I remember reading an interview with her where she mentioned it.

And no, it's only been about a day or two since Carol was banished. Rick came back the night the fences fell and Herschel was fighting off the flu walkers, and it was the next day when Herschel and Michonne went out with the bodies, which is when the Governor got them. They couldn't have been gone very long without someone noticing, so the Governor would have only been back with his army a few hours after that.

It would have been just a day since Carol was banished when the prison fell, and maybe a day later when she caught up to Tyrese and the girls.

Does anyone who read the comics know anything about these 3 new folks? Friends or foe's?

They're Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene. Won't give too much away, but finding them is pretty much a real good thing.

Could the preview be when Michonne found Andrea? I don't remember where that was. All I remember was that Andrea was sick.

Michonne found Andrea in the woods after Herschel's farm was overrun, in the season finale of Season 2. It was a few months later when she got sick and they were hiding in that town.

I don't think the Michonne thing is a flashback/dream/bounty commercial :rotfl2:

I saw a different promo on another site and Michonne and Rick were talking in the kitchen of the house they are staying in. They were talking about going on a supply run and Rick wants to go, but she convinces him to stay and rest since, you know, he just woke up from a coma and all. Anyway, Michonne was wearing that white long sleeved shirt during the conversation, so I am guessing she found it at at the house and is wearing it instead of her tank top.

I am also guessing the house she is in when looking at the slashed up painting is a different house then where they are currently staying, and she is on the supply run checking the house for supplies when she hears the noise behind the door. I am going to go out on a limb and say the noise is a walker!

We thought walker was too obvious, since that happens all the time and just happened to Carl. Can't wait to find out, too bad we have to wait almost a week.

I saw carol and almost jumped out of my seat to do the happy dance.

love her :dance3::dance3::dance3:

keep telling my dh the baby was with the kid.

When carol appeared before Tyreese, she realized that rick hadn't told Tyreese about her supposedly killing those two people. Tyreese was happy and relieved to see her so she had to come up with a cover story as to why she wasn't at the prison.
Carol told Tyreese that when her and Rick went out for the supply run, rick headed back as soon as he found meds and she stayed to look for more supplies. By the time she got back to the prison , the attack had just finished up and she saw the two little girls running away. She followed them and that's how she was able to finally meet up with them.
Like i said way back when the killings first happened, Lizzie had something to do with it. The bloody print on the door was way too low to be carols.
And as soon as I saw Judith in Tyreese's arms soI said to my husband "I told you so " there was just no reason her car seat would've been unbuckled without someone grabbing her to run away.
I just wish there were fewer commercials during the episodes. I watched downton abbey before this and this seemed to fly by so fast.

haha mine was via txt "Who was right about the baby this chick"

Man I gotta start blocking some people on FB. My cousin (the one who lives where they film the show) posted on FB two posts on Sunday night, that I saw Monday morning. The first was "JUDITH!!!" and the second was "CAROL!!!" I gave him a stern tongue lashing for those of us who use a DVR (his sister was also really mad at him for it).

What a dingus.

At the beginning of the episode, who was Beth "talking" to??? I wasn't sure. I am guessing it was God, or maybe her mother :confused3 It was a little confusing. Toward the end of the conversation, she said that she had just slept in her own bed. At least, that is how I remember it.

I thought that was what she was writing in her journal? Didn't she have the journal on her while with Daryl? I thought I saw her with it.

That's possible. I will have to pay closer attention the next time I watch it.

Thanks!!!!

It was her voice reading a passage from her journal written after they had settled into the prison. We saw her writing in it, in the season premiere, in her room.

Yep, it was her journal writings.

Here's an interview she did explaining the journal and the eipsode:

“Hey, I know it’s been a while. I’m gonna be honest, I forgot about you.”
And with those words from the journal of Beth Greene, episode 410 (titled “Inmates”) began. Hearing Beth’s hopeful journal entries from back when things were going well in the prison juxtaposed against the visuals of Beth and Daryl now running for their lives after the fall of said prison set an ominous tone for this latest installment of The Walking Dead.

Thanks everyone! Mystery (to me), cleared up :thumbsup2

Yes, what others said about it being stuff she had written in her journal at the start of prison life.

I also thought that it was pages she was burning. In one shot of she & Daryl she is ripping out pages of a notebook to start the fire (which I have a problem with as well). I took it kind of as her words of peace and happiness at the prison were going up in flames, metaphorically and physically. My beef is, why does she have the journal with her??? It's usually in her room, the fight all came out of the blue and it wasn't like she had time or thought to go to her room and get her journal of all things. WTH!

As for the fire they had, Daryl is too smart to build a fire out in the open like that. Remember way back when at the fish fry they dug a hole so they could have a fire that the walkers wouldn't see? No way would he build a campfire that could be seen for miles by walkers. Big hole in the story IMO. Or I'm just being picky :scratchin

OK, my sense of timing with this show is way off then :rotfl:
I could have sworn that more time had passed between when Carol was banished and when the prison fight took place. I'm going to have to go back and watch last season again.

I thought she tore off a blank sheet from the journal and used that for the fire. Didn't they show her actually writing in the journal also? So I didn't get the impression that she was burning pages she had already written on, just extra blank pages.

I still have that episode on my DVR. I'll have to go back and watch it again.

Oh, I meant to comment on this in the last post. I noticed that too and even said something about the fire to my DH. But then it does seem to go along with the "I don't care anymore" (polite wording, LOL) attitide that Daryl was showing in that episode.

Could be, I was just incredulous that she had the darn thing with her at all! I spent most of that time yelling at the TV/my DH that it was ridiculous she had it with her! :rotfl2: My poor DH! I'm like if she's got time to grab anything in that chaos it would be water, ammo, food etc...She got off the bus to go back to try and get the kids and couldn't find them but she took time to get her journal???? I don't think so.

:rotfl2: You are not the only one that yells at the TV/your DH during that show :thumbsup2

Although, wasn't the journal pretty small? Like 3x5 instead of 8x10. So it is possible that she had it in her back pocket all along. Maybe since rediscovering it, she has kept it with her all the time. :confused3

Yep, I'm seriously going to go home for lunch so I can watch it again, LOL.
