So....is anyone else ready for Carl to be killed off? I rolled my eyes at the beginning like 'oh great a Carl episode...'
I liked last night's episode even if it was a bit slow and feature Carl who is not a fave of mine. I like how they are showing us Michonne's backstory, now we know why she was so hard and we know who her first 2 pets were.
I also like how Carl realized he wasn't ok all alone even though he thinks he can take care of himself. Writing on the door about the shoe and then eating all the pudding shoes he is still a kid but also turning into a young man.
I didn't know that so many people disliked Carl like I do lol I can't pinpoint why I dislike him so much, if it's the character or the actor. The actor is not all that great so I'm sure that is part of it. I also don't understand how on the Talking Dead the guests always gush about how great of an actor he is. It's like what!?

Carl reminds me of the bratty kids in the Tom Cruise remake of War of the Worlds. Yes, teenagers can be annoying, but most have common sense. I have never liked Carl...he does stupid things that get good people killed.
I always leave wanting to slap Carl or give him a good shake.
I like Carl less and less each episode.
I t was her, just a clean version of her!My one complaint was the flashback for Michone. It didn't feel like TWD and was it even the same actress? At least we have some background info on her now
I thought it was a good episode.
We had some solid character development in Michonne and Carl. I enjoyed seeing Michonne's backstory and really liked how they presented it.
Carl is an angsty, know-it-all teenager so, like most kids his age and when you combine that with everything he's seen and gone through, I can't blame him for lashing out at his dad.
Carl's already shown resentment toward Rick, and this episode he was able to tell him exactly what was on his mind. If Chandler Riggs were a better actor, it would've been a better episode.
