The Walking Dead on AMC

The scenes for the finale look good. Rick seems to be beat up, wonder who does that, maybe Daryls group. I don't remember anyone getting a look at Rick when he was in the house hiding under the bed, but they said one of the group got a look at him. I am guessing they are the group that went in the house and Rick killed the guy in the bathroom and it was Rick they were talking about.

When the two guys were fighting over who got the bed, the one that lost fell on the floor right in front of Rick. He got a good look at Rick right before he passed out.

I've got a bad feeling about terminus too. Why were there no guards? Even Woodbury had armed guards and more barriers to entry. And wouldn't a place like that be fairly populated? Didn't woodbury have around 70 people and they didn't advertise themselves.
I was really hoping they'd skip the whole cannibal story line from the comics, but it's not looking like it. Although they could just be wanting us to think it's a bad place. Who knows. I'm so nervous about the finale. I just might have to read the spoilers once they come out so that I know what to expect.

Oh man, not cannibals now, LOL. Yeah, add me as another one that doesn't like the look of Terminus. Why was the gate just secured by a chain wrapped around it once. That wouldn't keep walkers out for long. And definitely creepy inside.

The rest of the episode wasn't bad but wasn't one of my favorites. I like that they showed more of everyone. But I was surprised that the guys that Daryl is with aren't as bad as I thought (well, besides killing one of their own, LOL).

I was glad to see Maggie and Glenn reunited :cool1:

I can't wait to see what cliffhanger they have in store with us.

I leave for vacation this coming Friday and won't be home for 8 days. I really need to schedule vacations around TWD, especially the finale ;);)

Three guesses at the first thing I do when I get home, and it won't be unpacking or laundry :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

You have your priorities straight :thumbsup2

Now see, I thought just the opposite. I was scared to death every second they were on screen. They have their weird sense of ethics, but every thing about them screamed evil to me. The fact that they are on a big mission to find the one guy who killed one of them, eek. Yet they had no problem killing the one guy.

I wonder if the gang with Daryll will catch Rick and then tell Daryll he needs to kill him to become one of 'us'. Daryll currently doesn't know it's Rick they are hunting.
I also think that grill is so large because it is meant for whole bodies. Maybe they also eat zombies so that's why there are none around?

Did anyone notice Daryl used the trash bag with the dead rabbit in it as a pillow? :rotfl2: I don't know why that struck me as funny. BTW, when will he eat that dead rabbit? He is toting it around and it must be smelly and gross. (But I wouldn't say "no" if he offered to share it!)

I was just surprised at how easily the head guy seemed to accept Daryl into the group. And Daryl felt OK leaving his stuff with them to go off hunting in the morning, etc. But then they turned around and killed the guy (although he was causing trouble). :confused3 But didn't Carol just do the same thing last week to someone that couldn't be trusted in the group?

I missed the part where they said they were hunting down Rick (maybe DH and I were talking when he said that :confused3). But I did hear him say that someone had killed one of their guys and left him in the house as a walker to come after them.

OK, playing devil's advocate here (because it is fun to do that with this show), if they didn't know Rick was there and Rick never even tried to talk to them, but instead just killed one of them and left him as a walker to go after the rest of them, then I can understand why they would want to kill Rick too. Did the guys ever do anything to Rick? I don't think they even knew he was there until it was all over and the passed-out guy woke up. They just went into a house that they thought was empty and made themselves at home (just like Rick and his little group did), right? I'm trying to remember the episode to remember why Rick was scared of them other than he was outnumbered and didn't know them. Hum, I'm going to have to go back and re-watch that one now ;)

Just my take on it. I have never been right about anything in this show anyway. I'm sure Daryl's new friends will do something awful to the other group in the next episode so that we know for sure they are evil :rotfl2:

He didn't just pass out ... he died, didn't he? I thought he turned into a walker and attacked the guy on the bed?

Or am I just forgetting how this all went down? I didn't think anyone who survived the house saw Rick's face.

No, the guy was chocked in the bedroom survived. He is the one wearing the kerchief headband. Blue or black I believe. He saw Rick, when he was laying on the ground, in front of the bed, getting choked. The guy that was on the bed went downstairs.

The guy that Rick killed was in the bathroom.

The guy passed out, but saw Rick under the bed b4 he did so he knows what Rick looks like. Rick got out b/c he could tell these were not friendly guys. Plus, he didn't want Carl & Michonne coming back to find these guys. While escaping, he went into the bathroom & a guy was in there. Rick killed him b4 he could yell out & then left the bathroom door open so the guy would turn & then leave the bathroom giving Rick an opportunity to get away.
Only the guy who passed out was the one who saw Rick so now they are hunting him down.
I think Daryl will stay w/these guys to find out who they are hunting. He knows it could very well be Rick or Glen.

I think the guys with Daryl are from Terminus. They seemed like they already knew about it when Daryl asked and they seem like they want Daryl to come with them pretty bad. Also, weren't they waiting for person living in that house to come back home for some reason? Poor Daryl. Maybe he's their next meal and they are walking him right into it.

I thought Daryl did put together that they were hunting down Rick by the candy wrapper.

Daryl had no way of knowing that was Rick's. That was the show letting the audience know how close they were to finding them.

And they were openly talking about raping the woman they suspected was staying in the house when she returned. And one of them nearly strangled another fighting over a bed. Hence why Rick knew they were trouble, didn't speak to them, and killed the one he ran into.

That was what I was trying to remember, why Rick was so worried about them. I just remembered that he was but couldn't remember what about them was so bad when they came into the house.

I think that is why I'm really not liking the the second half of this season. Too much time passed between when I saw the episode of them in the house and last night's episode. I lost the sense of what a threat they were. I would much rather have one episode build on to the next than to go a month or more between episodes of a certain story line. :sad1:

I agree. I'm looking forward to the whole season coming out on netflix so I can rewatch it uninterrupted.

Here's a promo that shows a bit more for the next episode. Still have no idea what's going to happen...

So from this clip it looks like Rick, Michonne and Carl get surrounded by the group Daryl is with since they were "hunting" Rick for killing one of their own.

Poor Rick, gets beat up pretty bad again but when they show his hands they were covered in blood just like Lizzie's were after she killed Micha---wonder who he has to kill??!!

In the one preview, I saw the 3 of them in the woods where Rick is showing how to make a snare and they hear someone yelling "help" and Carl takes off.

Then another where Tyrese looks like he is fighting for his life...

It also looks like an ambush at Terminus....just worried how many of our beloved main characters will we lose this time around :(

The fact that they talked about raping Michonne was the most disturbing part of the whole thing, so I thought it was pretty hard to forget. Between that, and the other one asking last night if the girl Daryl was looking for was "one of the little ones" really solidified that these were Grade-A creeps.

And I don't care how friendly that guy is being to Daryl right now...I think he'd kill him and take his stuff without thinking twice about it

The one guy (with the rabbit) was definitely a creep. But he was the same one they killed. That is why I thought he was someone that needed to go anyway (although I don't like the way they used Daryl to prove the point...it was proven already). But I just can't remember which one said what back at the house.

Oh, that comment about the "younger ones" did make me wonder if they knew Daryl was with a group that had younger girls in it (meaning Beth or they had even seen them before at the prison).

Yeah, I definitely need to go back and rewatch the whole second half of the season again.

Last night's episode was definitely a build up to the finale. Nothing was exceptionally exciting, although it was nice to see the Maggie/Glenn reunion, but after "The Grove" I think we needed a quieter week.

I have to say, I REALLY love Jeff Kober as the lead marauder. He reminds me of Merle 2.0 with a hint of governor thrown in, which is what I think we are supposed to feel. He plays the manipulative, say the right thing part perfectly and you just know he is grooming Daryl for who knows what bad things. This whole Daryl arc has been about him trying to find his own identity. First, he was under Merle's thumb, then his purpose was all about finding Sophia, then Rick's right hand, and now, he has had to find himself, alone, only to come full circle with a group that is exactly like what he started with before the ZA. Obviously, this is all going to come to a head when they cross paths with Rick. I don't doubt for a second that Daryl will turn on the marauders, but it is going to be one heck of a scene when it happens. I'm hoping that Kober stays around for a bit, but I haven't heard anything about him being long term.

No, the "younger ones" comment wasn't a reference to anyone in Daryl's group. He said to Daryl, "because they don't last long out here." He was talking about their group's experience with young girls. Again, because everyone in this group is a creepy psycho. They were all joining in when they were talking about rape back at the house, which even led us to believe its something they'd done before.

It wouldn't have made sense to use anyone other than Daryl to make that point. We don't know anyone else in that group. It had to be done through the character we knew.

I don't agree. It was established long ago that Michonne had been getting candy bars and comics for Carl and it was mentioned last night that the candy bar was Carl's favorite. Pretty sure Daryl is aware of this too, he is pretty observant.
Low and behold, right when Joe was talking about what happened at the house and they are following the guy along the tracks, Carl's favorite candy bar wrapper shows up. They even showed Daryls' face when he saw the wrapper. I think Daryl realized it was a strong possibility it was Rick or at the very least, one of his group who had Carl.
