I suspected Carol when she freaked out after talking to Tyrese and kicked the water containers over. Maybe she is covering for one of the little girls? She did promise their dad she would protect and care for them.

I think Herschels days are numbered. I really think he is going to die this season. Didn't he have a drinking and driving incident last year? I thought I heard he also had a disagreement with one of the producers or something? Maybe not, but I thought I read something about that and he wanted off the show. Anyone remember that or am I thinking of someone else?

Did the Talking Dead have anything good? I can't stand Marilyn Manson so we skipped it tonight but just wondering if the clip for next week is actually worth watching?

Finally getting to watch the new episode. We are a little behind in Aus. Loving it so far. This season has gotten off to an awesome start.

I don't think carol did the killing, I think she is covering for someone.

Is Carol like Shane now? We saw what Shane did to Otis when he was trying to get the medical supplies for Carl which helped save his life. We didn't see Carol kill Karen and David but she did it to protect the ones she loved. Do you see Carol differently now that she pulled a Shane?

I usually enjoy watching the talking dead. But last nights show was just weird. MM kept rambling and cutting people off. Chris allowed him to do it, it was so annoying! I normally love when an excutive producer is on, but she could hardly get a word in thanks to MM. It was a waste of an hour.

lol I give you credit, I couldn't even watch it past the first 3 minutes, he is so weird, he skeeves me out especially with all that smeared makeup around his eyes and mouth. And the way he talks is sooooo annoying, he was not very articulate at all. The first thing he brought up was zombies taking probiotics and if they poop. Seriously?

Just because you're a superfan of the Walking Dead doesn't necessarily mean you would be a good guest on the Talking Dead. It was painful to watch.

I am now about a million percent sure Hershel's done. All those speeches, being put in the martyr position so that we'll feel sorry for him? It's Dale all over again.

Wah. I love Hershel.

And I HATE that it was Carol. I liked that she was compassionate and the voice of reason in the group. I mean, even if she thought she was saving the rest of the population . . . with illness, there's always a chance someone can get better. She denied them that. For her to play God like that was really cold-blooded and insane. What's left? For her to go the comic route and commit suicide by walker over her guilt? If they go that route instead of her finally getting together with Daryl I will personally visit the writers and whip them with a wet noodle.

I keep hoping that she caught Lizzie killing them, and helped her drag them out and is now covering for her.

Oh, and Marilyn Manson... yikes. That was painful. Usually I have to fight to turn off TD, but he was so awkward, I couldn't turn off the TV fast enough.

Ohhhhh! I like that! Lizzy did get sick. The kids were supposed to be quarantined, but she got sick anyway.

OK, now that I have slept on it LOL...

How did that handprint indicate Carol??? It was so low, Carol isn't short. Perhaps it was Lizzie after all and she is covering? I doubt it, but I am still confused how he got Carol from that handprint.

I think Herschel is toast also, that speech was WAY too grand, and self sacrificing. He did have a drunk driving arrest, but that was between seasons 2 and 3.

I think Glen will be fine, and I am betting Sasha will be also. But boy were we freaking out when they all got sick last night!!!!

No way Daryl will put a bullet in Carol, but this is going to bring a really interesting and stresfull dynamic to the group, at least for awhile. Oh my, I just can't even imagine.

Ok, so that was the vet college, then they are probably 45 miles from the prison, with an injured Tyreese and no car?!?! How they heck are they going to get meds and get back to the prison alive, much less in time to save someone??? And how many supplies did they pack in that trunk, that they have now lost?

I was glad they mentioned it was Zacks car, because when I saw that preview last week the first thing I said was where the heck did they get that car??

I really liked the interaction with Herschel and Carl in the woods, I think he was finally getting the point through a bit to Carl that killing is not always necessary.

I am not looking forward to Marilyn Manson, but I cannot wait to watch the Talking Dead tonight!!

Ohhhhh! I like that! Mikka did get sick. The kids were supposed to be quarantined, but she got sick anyway.

Yeah, Lizzie did get sick, but she was already in the cell block when the outbreak started, so she could have caught it then. Although I am still hoping it was her and Carol covered for her. That is really pathetic that I am hoping a child was a murderer!! There is something about that girl, that is just off. I don't know if it's the character or the actress. I think the girl who plays Mika is a better actress.

That makes sense actually. That was an obscene amount of blood. Carol knows how to kills someone quickly and cleanly. Do you think one knife through the skull would cause that much blood??? When she killed their dad, she did it so precisely and it wasn't messy at all. If a child did it, they wouldn't be as good and it could have been very messy. Not sure a child would have the thought to drag them out and burn them though, unless that is what their dad taught them.

Who's bright idea was it to have Marilyn Manson on the show He was terrible and Chris seemed to be making fun of him toward the end. Jack Osborne can be pretty funny but he couldn't get a word in. Would have loved to hear more from the writer too! Pretty much a wasted hour there and DS and I always have to watch Talking Dead but that was painful!

In the preview for next week, it looks like someone is being dragged around a corner, leaving a trail of blood... and that Rick is watching this happen. Is this just clever editing to make it look like another murder, or is it just a flashback of Carol (or whoever) killing David and Karen?

I agree, she is covering for the young girl. She has taken to mothering that girl and is protecting her.

I wanted to call into Talking Dead just to tell Manson to shut up. I like Jack and he got to speak two words the entire hour.

I've read elsewhere that the building behind the "mega herd" is just a power plant where they've done a lot of filming.

No notice of Carl and Hershal meeting up with Clara and the husband? That's twice that Clara could have been put down post zombified by both Rick and Carl. I am still saying that Clara is coming back for something, to take Julia or whatever "little***kicker's" name is. I still say that will be mid season finaly to create the tension between Rick and Carl for 2nd half season after they finalize the flu for this first half season.

I end up stupidly reading sites on the Walking Dead and see how completely mind numb everyone is. All it is is complaints about this season with no action. This series is so character driven that people should just quit watching and go watch some boring slasher movie rather than something as finely developed with the characters as this is. Amazing how people can't just get over mindless constant violence and actually use their brains a little bit watching TV. They should just go watch Honey Boo Boo or something.

I think what clued Rick in that it was carol (or carol covering for someone) was the fact that she is always helping everyone. Gathering water, caring for the sick, taking care of the children, fixing the broken hose, feeding everyone etc. I think it dawned on him that she did it for the good of the group because he said something like, "You always take care of us, there's nothing you wouldn't do for us." I don't know what he got from the bloody handprint on the door.

That was Clara??? Ok, maybe. She stumbled around and got herself caught in a bear trap after she died. But that couldn't have been her husband, because her husband was just a head, wasn't he? And he was in a box.

Maybe the notice of the handprint was significant because it was smaller and more childlike? I feel like it has to mean something.
