The Walking Dead on AMC

That was Clara??? Ok, maybe. She stumbled around and got herself caught in a bear trap after she died. But that couldn't have been her husband, because her husband was just a head, wasn't he? And he was in a box.

Maybe the notice of the handprint was significant because it was smaller and more childlike? I feel like it has to mean something.

Was that supposed to be Clara? I didn't get that, but maybe. Not her husband though, and she would not be with her husband, walkers do not carry things around, and once she died and came back, she wouldn't know her husbands head anymore.

I didn't think that was Clara and her hubby, but maybe. I thought their camp was in a huge opening. This camp was in the deep woods. She was not that close to the prison, her and Rick hiked quite a way to get to their camp. Plus, I thought her hubby was just a head and this walker that was sitting had a torso, he reached out to Carl.

I didn't think it was Clara and her husband either...just two random walkers.

Is Carol like Shane now? We saw what Shane did to Otis when he was trying to get the medical supplies for Carl which helped save his life. We didn't see Carol kill Karen and David but she did it to protect the ones she loved. Do you see Carol differently now that she pulled a Shane?

Shane isn't the only one who killed to protect the group. Let's not forget that Rick killed Shane.

I watched the Walking Dead marathon leading up to Season 4, and I realized for the first time that Lori actually told Rick to kill Shane. I can't remember the dialogue exactly, but they were in the tent the night after Rick killed the men at the bar. She told him that he killed them to protect what was his. And that she and Rick were his, and Shane wanted them. My mouth fell open because I didn't catch that the first time around.

Who's bright idea was it to have Marilyn Manson on the show :confused3 He was terrible and Chris seemed to be making fun of him toward the end. Jack Osborne can be pretty funny but he couldn't get a word in. Would have loved to hear more from the writer too! Pretty much a wasted hour there and DS and I always have to watch Talking Dead but that was painful!

I agree. Marilyn Manson really got on my last nerve.

It could have been Lizzie who killed them & Carol caught her who then decided to burn them to protect Lizzie. The handprint showed a smaller size hand I believe, so he thought it could have been Carol.

Talking Dead was torture to watch thanks to MM! I, as I am sure many WD fans, want to hear what the people from the show have to say. They provide great incite to how or why they did certain scenes. It made me mad that MM kept interrupting her. I don't care what celebrity fan has to say since they have no clue anyway. He was just too full of himself that he felt he needed to comment on everything in long, drawn out explanations!

OK, now that I have slept on it LOL...

How did that handprint indicate Carol??? It was so low, Carol isn't short. Perhaps it was Lizzie after all and she is covering? I doubt it, but I am still confused how he got Carol from that handprint.

What I noticed about the handprint was its size - much smaller than Rick's hand, so obviously a woman (or child).

I still think Carol is covering for Lizzie, or at least I hope she is. I really have a hard time with the idea that given her character up to this point she could kill "to stop it from spreading". I also have a hard time believing she'd be stupid enough to think it would help, given how many of them were already exposed at that point. I felt like those killings were reflective of a much lower (childlike) level of reasoning... I'd expect an adult, especially one as compassionate as Carol, to understand that not everyone who falls ill dies. And I'd expect any parent to know that an illness like that spreads before the infected become symptomatic.

If it was really Carol, not her covering for someone else, that feels like lazy writing to me, fostering conflict at the expense of being true to the characters. She's a caretaker, not a killer, and certainly she knew that all of "her" kids were exposed already.

I know. I'm a fan of his music but man... He is awkward and poorly spoken, he rambles, and he dominated the whole episode even though he had nothing of value to add. I kept waiting for Chris to cut him off or something and it just never happened.

In the preview for next week, it looks like someone is being dragged around a corner, leaving a trail of blood... and that Rick is watching this happen. Is this just clever editing to make it look like another murder, or is it just a flashback of Carol (or whoever) killing David and Karen?

Or they're disposing of bodies of other victims of the illness. There's going to be blood because of the way it kills, so I don't think that necessarily indicates a violent end.

To be honest, I really don't care any of the non-cast members "celebrities" on the Talking Dead. I'm not sure why we are supposed to care about their opinions when mostly they just say what all of us are thinking anyway. I don't care more about their opninions just because they are "celebrities." I would rather see ONLY people related to the show, like cast members and crew.

Usually I enjoy them, I like to see that celebrities are as ga-ga over this show as we are!!

I'm leaning towards when Rick was talking to Carol about her always taking of everyone, her response wasn't so much as to imply that it included burning bodies but rather lying to, protecting, or covering up for people.

Even last week when she was talking to Carl about the lessons at the library she was clear that she wasn't asking Carl to lie. She just wanted him to not tell Rick about the lessons.

Either way, she's in a bad spot now.

And MM? I just wanted him to shut up!

I wasn't surprised that it was Carol.

All I kept thinking during TTD was "please someone make Marilyn Manson shut up."

His senseless rambling and sexist commentary was making me

Carol covering up for Lizzie makes a lot of sense. Also maybe that is how Lizzie got the sickness? If Lizzie did drag the bodies out there she most likely did not wear gloves or mask or any protective gear, kids generally don't think of things like that. If it turns out that Lizzie did do it then she may have done it to show Carol that she was part of the group and fully prepared to use the skills Carol taught her and the other kids.

I usually enjoy the celebrities, particularly those who bring a little "geek cred" of their own (Kevin Smith, Nathan Fillion), but they need to be articulate and able to contribute!

That's something else that crossed my mind... That she was the one that burned the bodies, maybe even the one who killed them, but only because she interrupted or came in to the aftermath of someone else's (Lizzie's?) botched attempt to do so.

I've been avoiding this thread because we were behind in episopes, but all caught up now!

Yes, Lori was a first class whak-a-doo.

I was shocked about Carol, but upon further reflection, I can totally see her covering for that girl. I'm thinking the girl did it to prove that she can be "brave" and figured sick people were good to "practice" her skills on. I'm guessing Carol just covered it up.

I hope Herschel doesn't go, but I'd rather see him go than Glenn.

Has no one thought that Daryl & Co. might run into the Governor out there? You know they're gonna find the meds and get back in time to save at least some of the sick people, but I am wondering at what cost. If the Gov is out there.......

Oh yeah, and that guy who wanted the wine? he creeps me out.

Good call! Them talking about him in the car (cold trail) could be the foreshadowing to him showing up!

And I'm all for that girl (who is a terrible actress, in my opinion!) being the killer and Carol covering it up! Carol doesn't seem to have that in her. But I'll be the first to admit it if I'm wrong!

Carol answered that it was her way to quickly and gave no reason, total opposite of how carol usually is.

Daryl found the wine guy didn't he? I really don't trust him, I'm now thinking that it was him feeding the walkers the rats and that he is actually a spy for the governor, I just really don't trust him.

I am fine with any character dying as long as its not Daryl.

Any theories on who was talking on the radio. My theory is Morgan?

It'll be one of the new characters, likely Abraham. He's in the comic book, a former military man. I'm betting he helps Daryl and company.

I agree. Marilyn Manson really got on my last nerve.

mine to...also think he got on Jacks nerve as well....

and I also think that Carol is covering...it is not her style...maybe Lizzy was in there killing them some how some way....and Carol caught her and helped drag them out...that she was part of it but didn't start it....it looks like a brutal kill so if Lizzy did do this than she is a psychopath for sure....

Im thinking for her to do that they had to be in there really sick or sleeping or both and not being able to move to protect themselves...very very weak...because Lizzy is a child and not that much body strength ...and also she has the knife does she not? or any way she has been practicing using it....maybe carol saw it(the knife) was gone and went looking to see who had it....and found Lizzy....
