The Walking Dead on AMC

We wondered why Lori used the test outside too. That seemed very odd.

I also wondered about the horses. I would have left someone outside to watch and I would have hurried. They could have had their little tryst somewhere on the farm.

We love the show but there are plot holes you could drive a Mack truck through.

T-Dog's arm was gashed open and seemingly infected and he had fresh stitches, which is a plot hole, since any doc, including a vet, will tell you it is asking for trouble to close up an infected wound. But anyway, he has this freshly stitched, infected arm and has the ability to pull on the rope to save Glenn from becoming lunch in the well.

They were worried about shooting that zombie in the well to avoid contaminating the water. Would anyone else want to drink that water with the zombie swirling around in it? Just look at those zombies. They are open infection city. Just having one touch me would freak me out. I can't imagine drinking a glass of water if I knew a zombie stuck his finger in it, much less took a bath in it. YUCK. I would check the well supplying the house and make sure the cover is secure.

Daryl seems to have the right approach. How about holler for Sophia. Might be more effective. True, could attract more zombies, but not like they are getting anywhere walking around. They are already having conversations, which can attract zombies, so talking louder won't hurt anything. I saw a preview for next week. Poor Daryl. I will stop watching if they do something to his character.

Finally! The cop uniform comes off. :thumbsup2

I hope Sophia doesn't have a learning disability. It would be a bad time to have reading comprehension problems.

I never worry too much about plot details like bathroom vs. outside. I make the assumption that it's for production reasons and dramatic effect. Outside, by herself, kind of all alone in this world with her secret sort of thing. If she's in the bathroom, then they have to get cameras in there, and she has to compose herself when she comes out and you get the typical, can she pull it off facial expression. Outside makes her seem more "alone" and gives her the time to freak and cry, and there's something more rustic and dirty about doing it out there.

As for the tryst in the pharmacy, I suspect that became a necessary production point too.

We're going to have to start losing some characters soon or having the band of people split up. So now we have a little get together that probably predicts some things coming up.

By the way, I'm with you on the testing stuff on Zombies. Wouldn't surprise me if that was going on....

Yeah, the importance of using protection and not getting pregnant when you are having sex during a major disaster when no adequate medical facilities are available. ;)

My mom brought this to my attention and I am clueless. Go back to Season 2, episode 2 right after Carl was shot and Rick carried him to the farm house. As Rick approached the house, he was met by all the inhabitants on the porch. Aside from Otis (running behind him), was Patricia, Maggie, and Doc, there were 2 other people.....a younger woman with long blonde hair in a low ponytail and a younger man with short black hair. Where are these 2 unidentified people in Sunday night's episode? Who are they?

I expected the girl to push Glen into the walkers to keep him quiet. Thought it was going to happen after the commercials but looked at the clock and realized the episode was over. I haven't enjoyed a series this much in a while. Each episode seems like it's over in about ten minutes :goodvibes

What was written on the note she passed at the table? I was sitting far enough back from the TV that I couldn't make it out. At first I thought maybe it said "Meet me in the barn", since that's where Glen went, but I guess it wasn't that if they wanted to keep outsiders away from there.

I loved tonight's episode even though they might have lost me if my favorite character had been killed off. I literally jumped up and won't repeat what I said when that happened.

I loved all of the character development in this one. Good show.

The 'have you done it in a hayloft' note part was written by glenn.. that is why she was so panicked when she read it

Tonights episode was good. I'm glad Darrell didn't die because he is my favorite character and he was a total rock star of the zombie apocolypse tonight. I think the barn is really interesting. I'm thinking maybe it's family and friends or they found and kept one walker and they throw people in there if they try to take over their house. Would explain why they have this piece of paradise in the middle of all that mess.

was the younger man the son that was in tonight's episode? He asked to go along on the search? and there was young girl with blond hair, she came to get rick and said " my dad wants to talk to you"
I don't remember from the episode where they carried Carl onto the porch.

oh me too! darryl is my favorite and I literally yelled at the tv too. and no I can't repeat what I said. LOL

I just wish they would find Sophia already, whichever way it will turn out.
I really dislike Shane, Andrea, and Dale completely gets on my nerves:rotfl:

The TV section of the local paper does a synopsis every Monday of what happened on TWD the night before. This was on their website and made it a bit clearer to me what happened. I didn't realize that Maggie didn't read the note while they were still at the table.

8. “You weren’t supposed to see this.” During dinner with Hershel’s people, Maggie slips a note to Glenn under the table, like all 8th graders do, that says, “Tonight. Where?” He responds, “Ever done it in a hayloft?” Unfortunately for her, Maggie waits until after dinner to read his reply. She panics and races out to the barn. Too late. Glenn has already discovered the corral full of stinky zombies clad in flannel and denim.

What a great episode! I really want to know why they are keeping all those walkers.

As for the note, Maggie slipped Glenn the note that said something like, "tonight, where and when?" Glenn wrote back, "ever done it in a hay loft?" But.....Maggie never read the note because when Glenn slipped it to her, her father looked up and saw them passing something. Maggie looked startled and quickly shoved the note in her pocket without reading it, put her head down, and continued eating. Her father had made it clear earlier in the episode that he did not approve of Glenn or any of these people and did not want to get close to them. He wants the gone as soon as possible. Maggie did not get a chance to look at the note until after dinner when they cleaned up since her father was scrutinizing her suspecting she is becoming close to Glenn. She pulled out the note and read Glenns reply and freaked out running to the barn knowing Glenn would discover the walkers.

Not sure why the note caused so much confusion, but there it is! :yay:

Anyway, I was devistated when I thought Darryl was dead! Thank goodness he is alive. Phew!

lol I didn't know how people didn't get that either. Good explination for those people! :)

I agree on the Darryl thing! He is quickly becoming my favorite character!

Nope. I just suspect that there's something like that going on.... no guns allowed, a little bit of secrecy, the reactions at the well, and the religious talk towards the horizon.

I think he's hiding zombies.

By the way... I still think he's hidin' zombies.

:thumbsup2:woohoo::thumbsup2

Good episode...hoping for more flashbacks....as for the zombies in the barn....he is a religious man so I'm thinking if not family than he would Cather the zombies that came to his property and being religious cous not kill them because it is up to GOD to take them out...not him. So he just stores them down there....also keeps them from sneaking up on them. If they are friends and family he may be keeping their for a cure however he did mention it was the end of days.

I'd like to know how he got in the barn....it had a lock on it...did he break it? Who does that at someone's house?

I was multi-tasking at the time. Had just got in from being out of town and was trying to catch up on e-mail while glancing at the TV every couple of minutes. I was sitting just a bit too far away, and the TV was at a bit of an angle from where my desk is, to see the note clearly. Thanks to all that replied :thumbsup2
