The walking dead amc #2

I thought what Rick said to Morgan about the jail cell was mean. I like Morgan a lot, but I am worried they are going to kill him off.

Eugene had me howling with laughter when he bit Dwight, my DH on the other hand I think had sympathy pain for Dwight lol...

Carol has disappeared before. I figure that she'll either cause them a lot of trouble or come back as the conquering hero. I think that it might be Morgan that gets involved too. He spent a lot of time staring at the swing which made me wonder...

I thought that too, especially given the preview for next week's episode. That sure looked like his staff, covered in blood, to me.

I also was sad to see Denise go, I liked her character and how she lacked confidence as the doctor but was starting to man up and educate herself both book-wise and surviving the apocalypse-wise. Loved how she sought out Daryl and Rosita to help her.

I am very afraid for Daryl. I still stand by my prediction that they will not kill him off, but I am starting to doubt that! LOL! I am wondering if it will be Carol or Maggie.

Maybe it was the glass of wine I drank before the show last night but a few things confused me. The very beginning of the show I thought my dvr messed up on. What was with the opening scene being repeated almost the same way? And the part with carol and Daryl I didn't really get either? Sometimes I can't understand Daryl when he talks. Also what made Denise get all upset? My dh said a baby shoe but once again the picture was so dark on the tv I couldn't tell. Sounds like I need to rewatch.

Is there a site that does recaps? I usually watch talking dead but I haven't had a chance yet.

I think they were just showing the passing of time, but it was a dumb way to do it.

Daryl was talking about how he should of killed the people in the burnt forest, but carol said that's who you are.

The person who was the zombie in the apothecary drowned his child in that tub. It said hush on the walls so I assume the kid kept crying so they killed him to try and save themselves.

I also feel bad Denise never got that orange crush she wanted so badly. Couldn't they at least let her take a swig right before she took the arrow to the eye...she would have gone out on a high note.

Haha.. :) I thought she got it for Tara. Where is Tara by the way??

I believe the soda was going to be a present for Tara. Orange Crush is her favorite.

That's right! I just remembered that she asked Daryl to get one and forgot it wasn't for her. That pop screwed them twice now. Who knew orange crush would be responsible for losing all that food/supplies and be the death of Denise. Moral of the story...drink water ;)

ETA that Tara is on a run. She left after they killed the saviors at that radio station or whatever it was.

I am watching TD, and Rosita seems a little melancholy. I have a feeling she will die soon. She just seems like she is spacing out, not paying attention, looking sad etc. It reminds me of when Andrea was on TD and kept getting weepy and sad. She was killed of a couple of weeks later, but couldn't talk about it on TD.

Christian Serratos, the girl who plays Rosita, was on Talking Dead once before and she was easily the most awkward and uncomfortable guest they have ever had. She was nervous and her answers didn't make sense. I didn't watch last night's Talking Dead episode yet but I'm curious to see if she's anymore relaxed this time.

Agree with nugov2 here. The opening sequence was just to show the day-to-day routine that they had seemingly fallen into. The scene between Darryl and Carol was just to further show us Carol's internal struggle about killing "innocent" people. That was evidenced by her telling Darryl that's who he is (insinuating it's not who she is) and when she walked away, she said the Savior people didn't do anything to them.

Tara is on a run with another Alexandria guy. They left after the Saviors attack for a two week run to gather supplies. I suspect this is because Tara in real life was so pregnant and it was becoming blatantly obvious. I'm guessing she'll show back up in the finale or not until next season. I also read that the guy she is on the run with
was cast as a lead in a new TV series starting this fall, so that guy will likely be killed off somehow. Probably during this run they are on.

[/SPOILER]
She was better. But the guy who won a guest spot on the couch (some teacher) was a big fat DUD! Couldn't they have found a better guest? But thank goodness for the Eugene actor...he was awesome! Love that guy.

I was also confused about the repeating opening sequence. I though my TV was messed up. I don't know why they repeated it.

Denise was upset because she saw the baby shoe in the sink, seeing the play pen and the "hush hush" written on the walls all adds up to a baby was killed. She has not really been outside the walls of Alexandria so she was having a hard time with it all, but I think that pushed her over the edge.

Yeah, Christian was not bad on TD, just seemed spaced out and sad. At one point Chris was talking about the whole Denise sequence and her speech before she was killed, and he turned to Christian and said something like, "What was it like for you to film that scene?" Christian looked shocked, almost like when you are a student and the teacher calls on you and you are daydreaming. She said, "What? the scene with Denise?"

I don't know, she just seemed sad, that is why I think she will be killed off.

I watched but I don't recall now what Rick said to Morgan. Can you refresh my memory?

If you've read the comics, you know who goes into that cell, and you know who puts them there.

I thought it was a pretty good episode last night. I'm bummed that Carol made the decision to leave because that is only going to mean trouble for the others (that go after her).
I knew Denise was going to die when she started making stupid moves (opening the door in the store, going to the car to get the cooler, etc). But once she started her monologue, I knew her time was up ;)

I thought the opening sequence made for an interesting tie-in. Eugene not taking over the guard duty because he had been shot. Morgan not doing his workout because he noticed Carol was not there. Guns being moved to the wall instead of food being counted (anticipation of upcoming attack). The routine has once again been disrupted.....
