The walking dead amc #2

I thought the same thing. We already did this!

Did you really think that a show that talks about surviving something like this and takes the time to develop relationships between the characters would not have more than one pregnancy story, especially when you run through multiple seasons?

Yeah, but they are probably thinking there would be more than one baby in the apocalypse, especially since maggie and glen are so in love. Also the circumstances are very different. As I said, glen and maggie are so committed to each other and have been from the beginning, it is a true love story in the worst environment. The circumstances around rick and lori were different, she was unfaithful and there was a love triangle with shane being ricks best friend.

Very possible, definitely one way to look at it. From my perspective, it's the zombie apocalypse and they can barely care for themselves, much less a baby. And they know that noise attracts walkers and it's pretty hard to stop a baby from crying. They've seen this first hand with Judith. Maybe she got pregnant once they thought they were safe in Alexandria, but otherwise, you'd think the conditions would have been their reason TO be more careful.

Yeah, but they're probably running out of effective ways to be careful, if you know what I mean. Condoms have a shelf life, especially in the absence of climate control, and it isn't as though anyone runs around with a multi-year supply of birth control pills. Even if they were doing their best to be careful, the means they'd be using at this point are far from foolproof. And abstinence in times of crisis/survival runs rather contrary to human nature.

Yes, and the criteria for someone being sponge worthy would be have to be raised.

Yes. I did. I can see the ignorant Alexandrians (even the citizens of Woodbury) breeding like bunnies because they're so clueless, but not Glenn and Maggie. Especially Glenn and Maggie.

Happy Sunday!

The "help" coming through the walkie talkie at the end is presumably Glenn or Nicholas right? It sounded more like Nicholas.

Overall, the episode was a little slow. The Sasha/Abraham sexual tension was weird.

***comic readers below***

So apparently Dwight and Tina were introduced and the group they were trying to get away from is the Saviors? Noticeably didn't show any faces and we received confirmation that Negan will appear in the season finale.

Another episode tying everyone's whereabouts during that short time frame of the attack on Alexandria.....I liked it because of this.....there is a reason for everything and it's all coming together

I'm excited to see Daryl's revenge!! He had the best line in a long time tonight.

And yes-the Sasha and Abraham thing was weird. He made me so nervous! And he's so hard to understand. I need subtitles like when I watch the British version if The Office.

Don't like Sasha and Abraham. So that was help at the end in the walkie-talkie? I couldn't make it out.

Obviously we will see them again. I agree they are definitely Negan's group. Slow episode, but I am really excited for what is coming! !!

I liked this episode. It tied some things together and finally gave Daryl something to do. So far this season has been strong.

I was confused about the whole sasha and abraham thing. I was like "what is up with them?"

I loved loved loved Daryls line when they jumped on the motorcycle an said, "sorry." "you're gonna be." Can't wait to see how that plays out.

Yeah someone said "Help". I read elsewhere that someone turned the subtitles on their TV on during that part of the show and their subtitles said Glenn: "Help" as if it were Glenn saying that. Who knows if that's true. Other theories about who could have said it that I have seen are Rick (doubt it), and characters that are yet to be introduced but we know are coming.

Somehow I fell asleep the last few minutes and when my family finished watching they deleted the episode. Guess that is all I missed - someone ? yelling help. Besides that I thought the episode was pretty boring.

Darryl found a truck in the woods - I think it was a fuel company and the license plate said "Patty". If you recall earlier in the episode, the three strangers with Darryl were looking for or trying to get to "Patty", presumably this truck. Darryl found it and drove it to go find Sasha and Abraham, which he did. At the end, they used the walkie talkie to call Rick as they were driving and someone came back on it that said "Help".

Walkie talkie- Could have been the couple who stole Darryl's stuff.

Kind of a slow epi with some dumb stuff...like when the short haired girl, Tina, lightly fell onto the greenhouse walkers and got bitten...kind of stupid.

I will say that the arc Abraham took seems to have come to resolution (he fought his demons and is resolved his issues to look to a good future) so is this foreshadowing????

I, for one, don't like that we keep having episodes with just some of the characters. Are they now too good to work more than 1/3 of the time (the actors)?
