The walking dead amc #2

My husband mentioned last night how Deanna is a little like Hershel. Maybe that's the repeated storyline? Leader in a so far safe place needs to realize the danger and accept the world now and learn how to live in it?

Repeating a story line?

I think the repeated storyline is battered wife is reborn strong, but I don't know if that is what that poster was talking about.

I think the blood was Deanna son. He was up to something when he took the shift from Carol. Or they wouldnt have shown that. Maybe he killed himself or Morgan's wolf is out and got him????

I couldn't believe we didn't see Carol or Morgan at all last night.

And I'd also like to know what we were supposed to focus on when they showed Deanna- blood? Another walker?? Very strange.

I don't like the Maggie pregnant story line. They would have been much more careful than that. But it was a sad moment when she gave up going out to look for Glenn :(

I think the blood was Spencer's also! Very strange!

Did anyone watch Talking Dead after? The sneak peek with Daryl falling from his motorcycle. Was he just exhausted? Injured? I hope he doesn't bite it!

I agree that Spencer was definitely up to something. He was making me nervous and so was the older Jessie's son (Ron??) My worry was that it was squished walker blood seeping through some sort of crack.

I'm worried about Daryl! What if they whole Glenn thing was a distraction and they're really gonna kill him off instead?!? Then the riots start ;)

Also, what is the blood seeping through or down the metal wall after Deanna walks by?

I also suspect it was Spencer's blood. I'm guessing he commits suicide while on watch, after Rosita leaves, and since we see Deanna walking the perimeter it would make sense if she found him. On another forum I frequent, someone thought it was the acidic blood of the zombies eating through the metal walls, but I doubt that. I don't think we've seen anywhere that zombie blood is any different than human blood.

Does anyone know when last night's episodes go on the website or On Demand? I fell asleep before the end of Talking Dead...I caught Flynn Rider's f-bomb then passed out ;)
To me it's just as necessary as the show itself. And I am MAJOR upset about them bumping it to 11 for the next few weeks. I'll never make it. Do they think I'm 21 or something???

I almoat always watch it the next day because I can't stay up that late lol

I actually think that it is more likely they wouldn't have been careful. I doubt condoms or the pill are their top priority when they are on a run (even though they showed him grabbing them in a pharmacy once) and when your in the mood and it's the conditions they are living in, I would imagine you'd throw caution to the wind and give into those urges without protection.

I'm not sure I want to see another birth/child on the show, but that is the reality of what would be going on if there was a zombie apocalypse.

Very possible, definitely one way to look at it. From my perspective, it's the zombie apocalypse and they can barely care for themselves, much less a baby. And they know that noise attracts walkers and it's pretty hard to stop a baby from crying. They've seen this first hand with Judith. Maybe she got pregnant once they thought they were safe in Alexandria, but otherwise, you'd think the conditions would have been their reason TO be more careful.

Maybe she thought she couldn't get pregnant. Most of the time they were near starving and always on the run and it's possible that because of that Maggie stopped having her period so she figured it would be safe.

That's what I thought about them being safe in Alexandria-plus having a house to themselves! I can't imagine they have the materials necessary to be careful (Glenn did make that one run a few years ago, but that was then ;) ) I'm also thinking that despite horrible life circumstances, there is still that common biological "need" to procreate. Maybe that comes on even stronger when humans are dying out!

For those of us confused about the pp comment of repeating a story line. I think she may have been referring to Carol vs. Jessie. Both were abused wives who had husbands who died (as a result of their aggressiveness) and they are both emerging stronger.

And Alexandria being like Woodbury and even like the prison where they try and set up a safe normal life and the walkers eventually overtake with help of bad guys busting in (Governor, wolves).

So Glenn knows Maggie is pregnant. If The Talking Dead had not mentioned it and referenced the first episode of the season, I never would have caught that. Another reason to think he is still alive, IMO.

I think the PP is referring to Maggie being pregnant. It's already been done with Lori.

I see two repeated story lines - Maggie is pregnant (that's been "done" with Lori) and also that Maggie and Glenn have been separated and Maggie doesn't know if he's alive. The whole pre-Terminus thing was Maggie and Glenn trying to find each other.
