The walking dead amc #2

I felt crushed for Maggie when she gave up, but she did the smart thing, and if she wasn't pregnant, I think she would have gone anyway.

Why is TTD not on til 11:00? I must have missed that!

I told my DH that all those Alexandrians were weak! Except Jessie & Aaron, spelled either way;) Geesh, throw a few crazies and zombies at 'em and they fall to pieces!

There is a new show premiering called Into the Badlands. It is on at 10:00, TD is on after.

Yeah, it stinks, I will not stay up for TD. I will have to set the DVR. The new show actually looks kind of good though.

I'm sorry everyone for the confusion on my repeated storyline post. I didn't want to outright say it, so as to not ruin it for those who may have checked the thread but hadn't watched yet (ie: East Coast vs West Coast). I posted pretty quickly after the episode aired here on the East Coast.

Anyway, yes, the repeated storyline is Maggie being pregnant. We've done a pregnancy/baby in the ZA already.

Sorry again for the vagueness. I'll wait to post my random outbursts of displeasure until the next day!

For those of us confused about the pp comment of repeating a story line. I think she may have been referring to Carol vs. Jessie. Both were abused wives who had husbands who died (as a result of their aggressiveness) and they are both emerging stronger.

I was talking about Maggie being pregnant but excellent thoughts on the similarity between Carol and Jessie.

I agree that Spencer was definitely up to something. He was making me nervous and so was the older Jessie's son (Ron??) My worry was that it was squished walker blood seeping through some sort of crack.

I agree with all of this! Both Spencer and Ron are acting quite shady. I was worried Ron was going to push Rick off that platform, but now I'm worried what he will do once he learns how to shoot a gun.

I also felt like the blood was seeping through a crack in the wall. Kind of like a foreshadowing that the Walkers are closer to getting in the ASZ than they think.

I think if anything sex would increase in the ZA. Look at the stats that show the number of pregnancies spike after disasters etc. Holding onto life, it is free, something to barter and there is a *** attitude cuz everyone is just going to die anyways.... Plus even with access to birth control, folks get pregnant... and with time going by, finding birth control is going to be harder and harder. If anything I am surprised we don't see more pregnancies... just that heavily pregnant/recent babies would be vulnerable in the ZA world. I am surprised they don't show the teens more sexually active then they are... they kinda skirted around it with Beth.

I think the blood has to do with Spencer... Maybe the wolf and and the death of someone who is supposed to be 'on watch'. Plus Deanna walking by makes me think that there is a connection between the blood and her.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more story lines about pregnancy, especially when you involve the larger communities.

I instantly thought the blood running down was from Spencer committing suicide. Last time we saw him, he was pretty distraught and left alone on the guard stand. Now we see Deanna walking the perimeter so it would make sense for her to find him, especially after the last thing he said to her was pretty harsh.

Ohhhh, I like this theory!!! It will be interesting to find out where the blood is coming from!

Wow, I need to get new glasses!! I didn't think that was blood on the wall, I thought it was a crack growing in the wall because of all the walkers pressing against it.

I thought it was both of those things combined ;) I figured all the pressure on the wall from the walkers outside was forming weak areas/cracks. And the blood (or some other gross substance) coming through was from the walkers that were pushing against it.

I thought the blood was coming through a screw head on the wall and running down. There is a build up of zombies on the wall and they are crushing each other forcing the blood through the screw hole. Remember when Rick was running 3 episodes ago and he passed that wall they put up so the zombies would turn left, there were a pile of zombies there from being crushed.
