The walking dead amc #2

I finally got to watch it...YEAH!!
The license plate thing...
I thought it looked like the back of the trailer where the pull was looked all scratched and figured it was a trap or something and that Daryl was figuring that out. I was SHOCKED that he opened the dang thing! I was yelling "What are you doing????" at the poor tv.

Carol totally wound PD up and sent him spinning. Brilliant! She knew he'd snap and they would be given the justification they needed to take him out. She is scary smart now.

I don't know where Morgan has been or with whom (actually he's been with the TMNT's), but he did learn some serious skills and some Zen-ness. Hopefully he & Rick won't clash too much. It's almost like they've switched positions.

Aaron is still on my watch list. Anyone that comes across as 100% perfect usually isn't so.

I think the Wolves are straight-up Terminus style crazy. Draw people in with the idea of food in the trucks and only a few walkers, they get trapped in the car and then the walkers get put back into their "cages" and the people get robbed, killed and then left in the parking lot to lure more people in.

Maybe Carl's new friend left the note in the car. She's got a story to tell that we don't know yet. Maybe her mom and dad (?) got lured in and she saw it go down, waited til it was clear and then snuck in and left the note.

Long wait til October.....

Pete didn't use a sword did he?. It was some sort of serrated edge blade it looked like.

PD used a katana. They did show Rick sitting on the bed with a serrated blade. I think it was right before he looked out of his window and saw that the gates to the community were open.

I'm wondering if those Wolf guys have the trucks to hitch to those trailers and they take their "army" of zombies and take over communities that are trying to form. For example, the town where they went with Noah that was obviously invaded. The wolves could bring the trailers to the community, let the zombies out of the trailers and then when the zombies are finished killing everyone, they turn the music and lights back on to herd them back into the trailers and then they are free to pillage the community. So I can see that now happening with Alexandria. The question is why do they not see killing EVERYONE is not a good thing. Deanna realized they need outsiders to help them flourish.

I like your thinking. I completely forgot about Noah's community being invaded. On this subject and specifically that episode, wasn't there something mentioned about how the brick walls in Noah's community were demolished. Or did I dream that? Like it was strange to Rick and Glenn that the brick walls were destroyed from the inside out?

The *only* thing that drives me nuts are the plot holes can be so big you could drive a zombie filled semi-truck through them. Whereas, a show like Breaking Bad was always so buttoned up with their plot lines and continuity. TWD is still my favorite currently running show, though.

I'm thinking I may have to read the comics to get me through to October, or at least until the unknown date in Summer when Fear The Walking Dead starts.

I don't remember that. I thought they were from the outside in. When they walked through the gap in the wall, they saw the legs and arms on the ground and then turned and saw the black marks on the wall like bombs had been set or whatever. At least that's my recollection of that episode.

I guess they could use them to "attack" a place, but it seems like too much work for these guys. They seem more like the take out a few here and there, let the people come to them in the loading dock etc....and scrounge along that way kind of people. driving trailers, waiting for the walkers to break in and "clear out" an area, then try and round them up , get them loaded and back to the loading dock....seems too much.

I'm looking forward to the spin off. I can't wait to see how they show it all unfolding. I hope they don't short change on that part.

I have high hopes for the spin off. I really hope it makes the wait for next season easier!

Me too. I'm definitely going to give it a try and see how I like it.
I also, finally ;), started reading the comics. I have the first two compendium books and just finished the first one. Of course that means that once I finish book two, I'll also be stuck waiting until October for the third compendium book (as well as the show) ;)

Thanks so much for the suggestion! I just downloaded Slow Burn to my Kindle (I love free, LOL). We are doing a road trip this summer so I'm going to read this one first and then download the rest of the series for our trip. Great pricing on the whole series :thumbsup2
