The walking dead amc #2

This might be OT but did anyone else think Sunday's episode was extremely dark? I don't mean the feel/theme of the show (that is dark too haha) I mean the actual picture was so dark I could barely see anything. The church scene especially, maybe they did that so it wasn't so gruesome? My DH and I were changing all kinds of settings on our tv trying to make it easier to see and nothing really helped.

I said that to DH when we were watching last week also. More and more, I'm having a hard time seeing what's going on because of all of the "black." DH says that our TV is having a hard time handling all of the blackness and is pixelating the image. Daytime scenes are fine, but not all this dark stuff.

I could see most things but I did also think it was very dark, and harder to see.

I though Daryl was having that conversation with Rick. I might have to go back and rewatch.

No, he was talking with Maggie.

Daryl: “Black car, with a white cross painted on it. I tried to follow it. I tried."

Maggie: "But she’s alive?

Daryl: "She’s alive.”

The “I was with Beth...” voiceover they’re using for the previews for next week’s episode was from last season’s finale, when he was speaking with Rick after they killed the Claimers.

Just rewatched the first couple minutes, this is exactly right :-)

It doesn't make sense to me that she would leave for DC without even trying to find Beth.

I don’t think they have a choice. They don’t even know the first place to look. Probably a better chance with them on the road now than being where they were.

I think part of that is, they did what they did to get Abraham to stay and help. They gave their word, and they kept it.

I keep them on my DVR until the blu-rays come out. :thumbsup2

Yup, me too! Not sure why, but I do it every season. I rarely ever watch the recordings.

Exactly.

Same here! I think I feel better knowing I have them all at all times. What can I say? I own Walking Dead socks too, I really need help. :rotfl:

Haha. I don't have socks but I do have the "if daryl dies we riot" tshirt :)

Exactly. Sure she would want to find her. But running off with no idea where to go? That's just going to get you killed. Cause clearly not only are there giant hoards of zombies but it seems like the worst of the worst PEOPLE have been the ones to survive so far.

I thought the same thing. When they showed the scenes again on Talking Dead they were lightened up quite a bit and we were actually able to see what happened in the church!

So, what did everyone think of last nights episode? I guess we have our answers as to where Carol is and who is with Daryl. It was good to get some answers but it seemed to drag a little, just being centered on Beth.

Next week it looks like it is centered around Eugene's group. I don't like having everyone split up. You end up going a couple of weeks before you see a group again. It's hard enough waiting one week for answers, but having to wait longer is killing me!

Drives me crazy waiting.

Beth is in hospital jail, who cares.

The best part of last night show was went the jerk jailer got eaten. It made me lol.

Next week will at least have better action, and less beth drama.

Did every one get the AMC is going away commercials call your company.

Direct tv had their own we aren't getting rid of AMC commercial, we are in contract negotiations. Direct tv's was very humorous.

at least Beth started getting some backbone last night... now that Carol is there, I think there is going to be some serious *** kicking for Dawn and Doc.

I don't know how I felt about last nights episode. I hated that guy and was glad he was killed. I hated the amputation, I hated the walker elevator scene, I hated the lollipop scene. I was very uncomfortable during the whole show I guess! :rotfl2:

I also don't like when they separate, it's like 3 different story lines or mini-shows at once. Beth's group, Ricks group, Abrahams group. Then you have to wait a few weeks until they get back to a certain group or reunite.

Disliked the episode. I don't like Beth. We can only assume that Noah is with Daryl, but maybe that's too easy... I wanted that question answered, but doesn't look like it will be next week either.

Everyone is messed upon the walker world except Rick's group....

It wasn't my favorite episode and I think I may dislike Abraham's group more so next weeks episode is not appealing to me at all. Oh, well I figured this is how it would shake out. Hopefully it is only a few episodes before they are back together. I do think the storyline that every group they meet is bad is tiresome.
