The walking dead amc #2

I think something is seriously wrong back at Alexandra and that is how they are signaling for help.
I don't know. In the ad for next week, Carl and others didn't look like they were afraid of anything except walkers. They were saying something about a whole bunch of them coming from everywhere etc...so to me, the something wrong is the walkers, so I don't think the horn is from them. Maybe Enid or someone outside the town itself, I don't know. The ad also showed Enid dragging a walker out of a car on a road and getting in it and writing the JSS, so I don't know if she was blowing the horn. No way that was a car horn, sounded much louder than that.

Did anyone think the walkers were moving really fast last night? When the son was following Rick and Morgan the walkers were practically running after him. Both DH and I noticed that. They used to be slowing down and decomposing with time.

My husband noticed. He said something about to discount my thoughts they move slower and smoosh easier compared to the walkers in FTWD. They were moving pretty good up the hill behind Darryl.

Sometimes they're fast. There have definitely been times when we've seen them almost run. I'm thinking about the time Shane and farm guy were at the high school getting the meds for Carl.

Best part for me...

Gabriel: "I'd like to help."
Rick: "NO."

LOL loved that.

So maybe I've missed something crucial, but the wolves are planted inside Alexandria?

I think there were wolf references all through last season-when they went to Noah's house there was something too. I don't know the comic books at all, and I know the wolves somehow.

There were a few instances of foreshadowing of the Wolves last season, but none that would imply a plant inside Alexandria to my recollection. When they went to Noah's house, the Wolves had already been there as evidenced by their graffiti tags. We also saw it again during the season finale on a car where the trailers full of walkers were. And of course, we've seen the W's etched into walkers foreheads as well.

***COMIC INFO BELOW***

This storyline with the Wolves doesn't really follow the comics, because the Wolves weren't a group in the comics. Some are assuming the Wolves will be the group called the Scavengers from the comics, which are a group that Deanna banished from ASZ at one time. There's also a group called the Whisperers in the comics who actually wear the zombie's skin and whisper to communicate with each other, to try to blend in with the zombies. So, the W's we have seen on the walker's foreheads may be tied to the Wolves or possibly some foreshadowing of the Whisperers which would be a different group.

I think the horn was sounded by Deanna or Maggie...someone back at Alexandria who doesn't know the dry run turned into the real deal and is signaling for help.

Good point... the people back at ASZ wouldn't know the dry run went live. Based on the previews for next week's episode, it's clear some walkers infiltrated the gates so perhaps that happened before the walker parade backfired and that's why they were sounding horns.

Sounding a horn like that would draw any walkers in the area. Just like it did. The group is too smart do that as an emergency warning. It is the Wolves.

this is what I was thinking. No way would one of Ricks group sound a horn knowing it would attract walkers. I think it's either the wolves, or someone from alexandria who isn't as educated on walkers as Ricks group.

Or a panicked teenage girl...just saying. I think it's a vehicle horn and we do see, on the previews, a teenage girl in a vehicle. Maybe that's too obvious.

But, remember that most of the smart people from Rick's group are out with them (except for Maggie, Carol, and Carl). The people in Alexandria have no clue what they're doing, so it really could have been any of them. I can see them panicking, and they don't have many people inside those walls right now that can protect them.

LOL loved that.

YES! Loved that part :) :)

Just rewatched and need clarity on 2 things:

1- what was the deal with Abraham and Sasha when he was sitting on porch and Sasha walked by? He put up 2 fingers and she sighed/eye rolled and then held up 2 fingers too and walked on. What did that mean?

2- what did Morgan say to Michonne after Rick put down Carter and walked away, where Michonne replied "I do too"?

I'm agreeing with alicat8 here. Yes Rick's group would be smart enough to know not to sound the horn, but they spent some time during the earlier part of the episode reiterating that the Alexandria group is naïve, don't know what they're doing, ill equipped to handle the outside world, have been inside since the beginning, etc. For one of them to sound the horn to alert the group to return because of imminent danger is plausible, and would help to strengthen Rick & Co.'s argument that the Alexandria folks have a lot to learn.

2- what did Morgan say to Michonne after Rick put down Carter and walked away, where Michonne replied "I do too"?

Didn't Morgan say something to the effect of "this is the way it is now" or something along those lines? Meaning you kill another human being without a second thought in their world now.

Morgan said something like, "I know it's the way it is now, but I hate it." (meaning he knew Rick had to kill Carter since he had been bit and would turn, plus he was making so much noise screaming that he was attracting attention from the walkers)

Michonne said, "I do too."

When I saw the premiere at MSG last week, the entire crowd applauded that line, it was great. :rotfl:

***POSSIBLE COMIC SPOILERS***

Enid reminds me a lot of that girl from the Whisperers, but I think it's too soon for them yet, since they turn up after the whole business with Negan. But who knows, they could be bringing them in earlier. The Whisperers geniunely freaked me out when they first turned up in the comics, so I can't wait to see how they do that.

I think the Wolves are the Scavengers for the comics - only because the leader called "Little pig, little pig, let me in..." when they turned up at the walls in the comics. Wolves/Three Little Pigs quote, seems connected somehow.

They cast Jesus, so they're definitely getting into the business with Hilltop Colony from the comics this season. I try not to check out too many TV spoilers, but I heard the set for Hilltop looks amazing. (which also means Negan can't be far behind :scared1: ).
