The walking dead amc #2

That was intense!

What what the A that was circled? Carol saw it at the end when she was sitting on the steps. She looked over and there was an A and it looked like it was circled in blood.

Why oh why did Morgan let those guys go????

Ok what was that group's goal, bc if it was to take over Alexandria, they spent way too much time chopping people up, instead of trying to kill as many people as possible to take over. And Carol is a complete badass. Carl too!

It was a good episode. Why did that girl leave? I am also starting to find Morgan a little annoying. He needs to get his let all people live mentality before he dies or someone else does because of it. Obviously we will see that gun come back into play.

I think the Wolves are just beyond human and animalistic. They didn't want to take over but just destroy and kill. It's showing what people become in the zombie apocalypse. That was my take anyway.

The A...I thought it was the Wolf who Carol was pretending to be (who's clothes she had on...Talking Dead Quiz had the name of the Wolf and it was an 'A' name). But in reading on the web, it seems that the train they were kept in at Terminus had an 'A' on it. And the stamp Sam was stamping everyone's hand with was an 'A', which I thought was for Alexandria.

I think Enid left because she doesn't want to get close and feel for anyone cause it will hurt to lose them.

It looks like the A is Sam's stamp. Maybe that was his house?

The wolves are just psychos. That is the same thing they did in the last town we saw.

Ah, I missed the A stamp.

For why the wolves did it? Just because they are crazy. That's what they do. It is the same think they did to Noah's neighborhood when Ricks group found the aftermath. They find thriving communities and slaughter everyone. On the talking dead they mentioned that one of the wolves said something like, "you're not supposed to be here" meaning no more "normal" civilized communities, it's all a "free for all" now.

When Aaron found his backpack on one of the Wolves with the photos of Alexandria in them, did he at some point lose the backpack and we can surmise that the Wolves found it and tracked down Alexandria from the photos? And Aaron feels responsible for the attack now? I vaguely remember at the end of last season the Wolves somehow seeing those photos but I don't recall when or how Aaron lost the backpack.

I hope that isn't it for the Wolves! I'm guessing not since some of them fled, but with all that build up, it would be anticlimactic if it's all done in one episode.

I reallyyyy want to like Morgan but the pacifist theme with him has got to go. It's going to hinder the group and work against what they are trying to teach the Alexandrians.

Thats what I thought about the backpack. I am a little fuzzy about what went down last season, but I also thought those were Aarons photos that he showed potential groups to entice them to come to Alexandria. I kind of remember them trapping Daryl and Aaron in the car and then releasing the walkers from the trucks. Then I think Morgan rescued them. He probably lost his backpack at that time. That is why that one wolf remembered Morgan and said, "it's you." At least that is how I remember it!

I think letting the wolves go will come back to haunt Morgan, that one wolf grabbed a gun on the way out so you know he will be back.

Aaron had the backpack torn off him by a walker when they were getting attacked in the season 5 finale.

This was a great episode. I love how good it was even without Rick and the others.

I haven't watched talking dead yet. I wondered why he said that. They also said it's a trap or something like that...I wonder what that meant.

I heard that too... maybe trying to make a civilized life in the zombie world is a trap because it gives you hope when all is futile.

love bad *** carol. I wonder if Enid marked the door in someway. I think she was working with the Wolves and maybe that was how she marked who they should let liv.

At first when I heard the speculation about Enid being with the wolves, I thought "no way, not possible." Now, I kind of think she may be with them. She was very casual when walking into Carl's house after the wolves started attacking. She was just like, "hey, I brought some keys so those guys don't get them." No hysteria at Alexandria being attacked by vicious psychos. Then she was like, "Yeah, I think I'm going to leave." She was just so unaffected by what was happening, kind of like she expected it and now it was time to split.

if you watch closely at the scene when Carol has the conversation with Sam when he is sitting on her steps, you will see the red "A" on top of whatever he has in his hands (it looked like a cup to me, but I've not had the chance to re watch this episode yet). The red "A" is Sam's stamp. He stamped Rick's hand at the party last season. "A" was also the letter on the boxcar that they were put in during the Terminus episode.

I'm still on the fence about Enid. Things that stuck me as odd: when she was talking with Carl and she was talking about Alexandria having too many blind spots, she then said "and that is how we....", but then Carl cut her off, and the scene with her having all of the house keys.

The other thing that was weird to me was when Carol was preparing her casserole, they made it a point to show Judith on the baby monitor. However, at the end when Carl took the casserole out of the oven, placed it on the counter and then turned off the egg timer they made it a point to show the back of the baby monitor in one scene and the corner of it in another, but never showed the screen of the monitor like they did earlier. I think Enid took Judith.

Morgan encountered both the Wolves, the one that said "You live here", and the one that attacked him in the armory in the woods at the beginning of the season finale episode of season 5. And as an aside: did anyone panic for a second thinking Olivia was going to shoot Morgan by accident at the end? That's what I thought was going to happen! I hope Carol remembers she told Olivia to stay there and shoot whoever tries to come in and take the guns.

It was an excellent episode!

Something that confused me-- Morgan was with Rick and Michonne. How did he manage to get back to Alexandria and not Rick or Michonne?? I feel like I must have missed Rick telling Morgan to run back because I though Rick's group were all scattering and running back. Then I was waiting for the first zombie from the herd to show up. I kept thinking any minute now...but we haven't seen them yet. It's got to be coming, right?

And, yes, I though we were going to see Olivia shoot someone too. And I wondered if we were going to see Judith missing, but I didn't think of Enid taking her.

Lots of loose ends. It was action packed. I wasn't sure what I was seeing when Carol saw the first attack!! I had to go back and watch it again.

I was afraid Morgan was going to be shot by Olivia also.
On the subject of Morgan, I suspect he did finally kill that last Wolf (the guy he met in the woods) just because he said "I'm sorry" before he hit him one last time.
Morgan arrived before the rest of the group, because he left before the Horn. Rick sent him back to let the town know that the zombie parade had started early.

I think the Wolves believe you can't live like the "old days" anymore and that makes you fair game for death and destruction. Then they take whatever they want. But killing the weak is part of what they do/believe in.
The wolves found the backpack and photos after Aaron and Daryl escaped from the zombies at the end of last season. I do think Aaron is going to suffer some serious guilt over this, but it wasn't like he just left the backpack laying around.
I think we'll see the Wolves again, especially the one who took the gun. That seemed ominous.

I think Enid is exactly what they portrayed, a kid who is afraid to get attached again. I think that's why she left. She sees this place going under and doesn't want to witness any more deaths of people she cares about. I do wonder where she's been going outside the gates, but it may have just been looking for escape routes, setting up supplies, etc. all in her effort to "just survive somehow." She hadn't been there long, so the death of her parents may have been fairly recent, and she's still working through how to live now. Just my guess. I really like her character and I hope she's a "good guy" and we get to see her again.

On Judith - I thought you could hear her on the monitor when Carl got the casserole out of the oven, but I might be wrong. I thought it was a neat way of showing how strong Carl has gotten, just going about everyday stuff, letting the baby continue with her nap, during and after a major attack.

Carol: I just love what she's become. She's awesome!! I totally didn't expect another "character" but that was a great idea to let her slip through town unnoticed.

I liked the surgeon also. I'll be interested in seeing that unfold.

Can't wait for another episode. This has been a great season so far.

In the recap at the beginning they showed Rick telling Morgan to go back and let them know that they were moving the walkers.
