Can anyone make out what the black thing is next to the hand with the ring on it? Can that be his half black glove Morgan wears in the picture of him by the tree?

YES! This is exactly what I saw - I was just trying to figure out how to upload it! Thanks for posting. The bottom right photo shows Morgan's wedding band as seen on the severed arm, and of course the tan jacket and dark skin. Pretty coincidental if it's not Morgan.

One thing about it that was noted on another forum was that, from what people could tell, the head was nowhere to be found. As gruesome as it is, it's possible that if it is Morgan, the head could show up at some point where Rick sees it or finds it. Perhaps as a means to let Rick & Co know how bad this next group is. But I do agree it's not a great way to use Morgan and I hope it's not true!

I don't know if it is TWD forum on reddit that you are reading, but I just read a bunch of comic book spoiler info...because I'm anxious to know what might happen to prepare myself(I'm a tv nerd and get way to invested in make believe LOL) and WOW...some major stuff is about to happen. It will be crazy, but I think it is going to be good!!

I still don't think that is how Morgan is going to go out, but the sunglasses laying there are the most convincing part if it is the case. I just feel like that would be a let down for him to go out like that.

I have the photo saved on my phone, and I zoomed in on it and the black thing are a pair of sunglasses. Like Morgan's. The other forum that originally posted this confirmed the same.

Totally agree!! Other forum I was reading is IMDB. I know about some comic stuff ahead too - should be interesting to see when/how they incorporate it. Concerned about the Morgan thing though, was hoping for something more exciting here!

Okay, when I googled it reddit came up with the image. There is some great speculation on there. I could get sucked in reading theories for a long time. Maybe if that is how Morgan goes out the writers will do it in a great way that won't seem like such a let down. I found on Breaking Bad that things happened I would have thought wouldn't go over as well as it did if I just read it vs seeing it executed on tv. So maybe it will be a surprise how they handle it. I don't know why I like his character so much since he had limited time on the show, but he is someone I would like to see on the show for a while.

Ugh! I hate to agree with you on this, but I see it too. It's the folded up sleeve of the jacket that has me thinking that is Morgan.

ETA: the sunglasses too! Crap!

Wow! I feel like I miss so much, I never would have caught that. I really hope it isn't Morgan, I was hoping he would join the group. If it is him, they must go back in time so we see what happened to him, it would be strange to just show him lurking for a couple of minutes on an episode, then not see him again.

So I read something else that said in a teaser they made a point and zoomed in on Morgan's hand and he isn't wearing a wedding ring...so probably not him. The writers are probably just throwing it in as a red herring to mess with us. The sunglasses are pretty convincing though.

I might be done if they kill off any more of the original main characters - Rick, Glenn, Daryl, Carol, Carl. If they get rid if one of the others from the Grimes gang it will depend on who it is... not a fan of Fr. Gabriel, Sasha or Eugene and don't really care about Tara or Rosita so as long as it's not Abraham, Maggie or Michon, I'm ok with that.

Maybe it will be Carl's new girlfriend or Sam... killing another child would definitely make people sad and angry...

I don't know if this is what nkereina saw, but when I googled it this came up. It is interesting, but I don't think they would do that with Morgan. Unless we are going to see some major backstory next season with just what Morgan was doing, but I still think we would see Morgan die in real time on the show IMO.

Yes, I think it is. It is possible. There was speculation this season that a walker was Andrea because of the way she was dressed. Maybe the writers just like to mess with viewers.

On Andrea, the belts look a bit different at least on the part you can see.

Also that looks like a picture of my bichon frise Jasmine on the left of Andreas buttons.

Interesting! A few months ago, the Today show did a behind the scenes look at The Walking Dead, which included an interview with the woman who runs costuming. She said ALL of the clothes worn on the show are retained and sometimes reused, so perhaps this particular "Andrea" walker was just in Andrea's old clothes, with no intent to mess with the viewers.

The Morgan thing is interesting though, especially with the recent hand shot that had no wedding band. I guess we'll see!

Was it the termites who did it? I can't remember if that was ever cleared up. I feel like that story line was a long time ago for some reason.

haha I'm one of those posters The new group we'll soon see is presumed to be called the Wolves, but it's not a group in the comics so no one knows for sure. I wasn't sure if we knew for fact that the tree markings Morgan was following were supposed to be from the Wolves, or if we still don't know yet. If he was indeed tracking the Wolves, well then I guess it's plausible they could have killed him...
