The walking dead amc #2

I think that is correct but someone upthread said Carol was at the library with Morgan. If that's the case, I guess we don't know what went down or how she was stabbed. I assumed it was the savior tracking her, but it seems she was at the library when Morgan found her. Is that right?

Carol was found by Morgan on the steps of the Library holding onto her stomach/side that had been stabbed. You knew she had been stabbed because Morgan cleaned up the wound with the small medical kit he had in his pack and then stated that she needed to find someone else to sew her up because he couldn't. I assumed that it was a different group of Saviors that found Carol at the Library and stabbed her because that group are the ones who had the "last librarian" -- it's the group with the chatty mustache first roadblock Savior. The Savior who found her at the end was the one that Carol shot in the car with the awesome sleeve-gun. He wasn't dead and he was tracking her to kill her/get revenge.

So there was some sort of attack on the library. We don't know what happened, just that Carol got hurt and all the library people died. I thought the guy they were dragging through the woods was with this library group because the mustache savior guy referenced killing the library group. Why did they not kill Carol? I don't know why that confused me so much!

I watched TD last night where they talked about if they had followed Negan all this time we would like him and not Rick's group, but I don't think that's true. Negan is a bully and total psychopath . They steal from other groups and kill someone to make sure the group works for them. I would have never been able to get behind a group like that. I hated when Rick and the gang killed the Saviors in their sleep, but that was the first time they did something like that and they felt threatened.

I'm wondering if they will totally cop out and kill Rosita, she would be the easiest to kill off as her storyline really has no place to go.

They could cop out and kill either Rosita or Aaron.

And who is Tara with out on her scouting mission?

The more I think about it, the more I think it will be a peripheral character that is killed. If they killed off Daryl, Glenn or one of the main group and showed it that would be a huge talking point all summer. If they did the same thing with one of the extra characters (Aaron, Rosita, even Abraham or Eugene) it would be an anticlimactic ending to a season. Leaving it as a cliffhanger allows them to come back next season with a non-main-character death that doesn't feel like a let down.

My money is on Abraham. The amount of character development they gave him in the second half of the season will make us feel a bit more for him if he dies. Also,
his comic book death was given to Denise so that would free him up for this death. Just a thought.

left us waiting for the aftermath next season.
8) I sure hope Carl told someone that he locked poor Enid in the closet.

If a main character died it would have been much more shocking to have to live with that all summer long knowing who died.
Also-thought Enid was in the circle last night.

As for Carol-her breakdown has actually been foreshadowed all season long-subtle early on but rewatching the marathon you can see she is struggling. Makes more sense now. And I thought Carol got to the library after the Saviours who have the hanged guy went through and killed them all-they looked like "fresh walkers" lol. I also think the guys with the horses are some of the other groups Jesus was talking about - some good ones but who have to put up with Negan.

Rick is definitely going to be taken down a couple notches-he came into Alexandria as a bully intent on getting what he wanted. It was because of the moral compasses in his group that he isn't a Negan. Bet Negan doesn't have those (Herschel influence, Morgan influence, glenn etc) and that is why he is more openly brutal.

Tara is out on a scouting mission with Heath.

Enid was pushing to come with them and Carl didn't want her to. So he asked her to grab some handguns from the closet and then pushed her inside and locked her in. When he left the "arms" room, she was banging on the closet door and the door had a chair pushed up under the handle, locking her in. I'm guessing that enough people go into that room that he knows someone will find her after they have left.

I think the only one we can say with some certainly is safe is Carl. Right before Negan was about to hit whoever over the head, he said if anyone says something or interferes, cut the boy's other eye out. He wouldn't say that if it was Carl he was about to kill. I also think he wouldn't pick a woman to kill. I think that would make him look weak, like he couldn't take a man out. I know a little sexist, but I am a woman saying this lol.

For the same reason, we know Rick is safe too. The whole line Negan said was "Anybody moves, anybody says anything, cut the boy’s other eye out and feed it to his father."
So we can take both of them out of the list of possible victims.

So it was "feed it to his father", for some reason I thought it was feed it to the dog lol. So, definitely Rick would be safe too.

Just a couple of thoughts on the last episode:

- I hope it's Glen. The comic has him going this way and I think he's outlived his story line. I like him but it's time.
- Neegan was way smaller than the comic portrayed him. Also, he didn't have the witty delivery of the lines like in the comic. I was disappointed in the interpretation. The comic had a big, muscular, charismatic, foul mouthed muscle head with a sense of humor.
- Lucille needed to be bigger as well. More barbed wire. In the comic it looked huge and scarier.

I think Carol got hurt in her fight at the car, and just holed up at the library. No way would they have let her live if she ran into a group of Saviors.

Also, I'm surprised no one has mentioned this. When our guys get away and go after Negan, my money is on Carl. That boy is going to eat Negans lunch!!!

I agree about Carol. She was in rough shape when she left the car.

Carol started falling apart when they were trapped in that warehouse with the women squad -- and on the talk show that follows they were even wondering whether her breakdown was phony to throw them off, or she was losing it. Then the very next show she just up and leaves because she doesn't think she can kill to save the ones she loves? She's been killing for 5 seasons -- I thought it was very unrealistic, and she was my favorite. JMO

Carol started to question her own actions before the warehouse.

I don't understand why they haven't "armored" a camper. Sort of like one of the Dirty Harry movies where he welds armor on the sides and front of a school bus and drives into the massed gunfire. They have the camper, they have sheets of metal. They could rig up something that would allow them to plow over things while protecting those in the camper. Sheesh.....do I have to think of everything?

Cliffhangers are weak and lazy writing.

I think the death will be Abraham. Neegan said something about the victim taking it like a man or like a tough something or other and Abraham was the only one who looked tough about their situation.

All the secrecy regarding Negan's reveal definitely hyped it up greater than it was. This was a case of over-promise and under-deliver.
