I'm skeert Carla! They are saying on our news that Savannah rarely gets a direct hit and they expect Hanna to hit farther north on the coasts of SC or NC... which is not good for us but maybe better for you? And then Ike!! Yikes!

I'm sorry you are skeerd everything will be okay. Yeah, Savannah usually gets hit pretty hard when hurricanes come up that way. I hope y'all don't get a lot of it. If it hits Savannah then I think everything and everyone we all know will be alright. It's just a matter of where it hits first.

I have never missed a presidential election since I've been old enough to vote. I've rarely missed some of the smaller elections as well. I will definitely find out how to file absentee for this election. If you don't vote you have no right to complain aboiut what is going on, right?

You got the water, now get lots of non-perishable foods that you can eat without cooking....bread, peanut butter, jelly, crackers, fruit, etc. Be sure you have flashlights and lots of batteries and a battery powered radio. If you have a grill, make sure you have plenty of propane and you may want to get a five gallon container of gas it seems the gas stations canrun out if you are evacuating, just be prepared and if they tell you that you should leave, leave!!!! Go see Sharky in NJ or go inland and see Carla in GA.

I just watched an update and it said that "most likely" Ike will stay south of Florida and hit Cuba like I said, I had heard it earlier but wasn't sure if that was still the same, but so far nothing has changed!

kind of pissed off right now. Just heard that Ike is now a Tropical storm and will probably be a catagory 3 hurricane by the time it hits the U.S. It BETTER not mess with my vacation!!!

that's good. Maybe we'll get that if we brave the weather while we're there. Last year it rained one of the days we went to EPCOT. Chris decided he wanted to wait out the rain by standing in line for test Track. We waited in line for 2 hours before they finally decided to completely shut down the ride. I was SO angry so I have actually not had a good experiance with weather at WDW. I just hope Ike either goes way south or goes way north and bypasses Florida all together

Didn't want it to mold over. eeeewwww....so now I only have a couple of loads left before I'm caught up. I think I may start throwing some stuff in the suit cases for WDW later this week.
