After 8 tries and being told 3 times no surveys left, my 10 yr old daughter finally got a PBS Survey



IT ended up being about a new disney nature film program that is being created.


SHe really enjoyed it

Trying to get caught up, but guess where I am?? Stuck in the freaking hospital. I'm bored out of my mind. I got no sleep here last night because they didn't get me a room until about 2:30 a.m., and I'm right next to the nurses' station, AND it never fails they put me into a room by someone who insists on screaming for the nurse in the middle of the night. Why do people have to be so inconsiderate??

Nikki, what the heck? I go away for a week and you end up in the hospital?? I'm so sorry you were sick....are you better now??? I'm gonna have to keep trying to catch up to find out I suppose.

Hi Everyone! I know I haven't been around much. I am doing that work from home job and I have to work as much as possible and when she sends me the stuff. I need the $$ because I don't have a regular go outside of the house job. I had hoped to get myself into a routine but so far it hasn't worked. The work comes sporadically so I have to do it when I can get it. I know you all understand. I hate not being here regularly, haven't even had time to do SR!!! I am going to force myself to start getting up early every day and working on here and doing some Sunshine and then can do what needs to be done and then get back on here if I can later.

I think I have lots of time but DH comes home so darn early that it makes my day really short. If he didn't get home till 5 I'd have a lot more time to complete what needs to be done.

Well just know I miss you guys a lot and I'm thinking of you when I am not here.

Oh MomMom you know we all understand. It's good that you at least pop on here from time to time as you know we all miss you. I hope things start to settle down for you soon and you can get into a routine.

We went to Olde Town last night and had a really nice time just people watching. We walked around, looked in the shops and just had a really nice time.

Today we went to New Smyrna Beach. It was a really nice day and we sat on the edge of the water, got some sun, DH did some surf fishing and I was "adopted" by a little guy whose dad was fishing. He was a cute little kid and the dad was divorced and it was his day to have his son so he brought him to the beach. He was a good dad, trying to balance fishing and being a dad. I told him go ahead and fish, I'll watch the baby. Then later I was in the water and the baby was playing in a little puddle and I had come out and was sitting on a rock and the baby came over to me like I was his grandma and wanted me to go with him, so I did and he wanted to show me the fish in the little puddle where he was playing! It was so sweet!!!

oh that sounds like fun and sounds like that little baby was so cute. Don't tell Huey...he might get jealous.

So last night we took a ride down 192 looking for an Advance Auto Store. I had to stop and take this picture.DH actually pulled in the parking lot and got out of the truck to take this picture for me and then I took another one or two. I am sure you'll all understand what the significance of these are....

These are just some shots that I took around Olde Town. That's a nice place to just hang out. it's free unless you buy something or go on rides. They have shops and food places and rides, music, it's just a cool place.

We went in the AW place as DH was hungry.

I have not caught up. I have about 10 pages. But I just have to say this...

I've just been asked THROUGH EMAIL to be a bridesmaid in my pregnant cousin's wedding in May. She is engaged to my friend who we specifically WARNED against her....and knew this would happen. She got pregnant purposefully...she had been wanting a baby for a long time. (and she's only 21!!!) She's his first relationship, they've been together for only a year now, and she's having his baby in October. And she's making him change the spelling of his name on his birth certificate because SHE doesn't want to spell the baby's name that way!!!

It's utterly ridiculous.

I still haven't said yes or no to being in the wedding. I didn't know what to say so I asked her about the cost of the dress. She said it would depend what I pick...she said as long as it's long and Pool blue. So I'm assuming that's David's Bridal.

I just didn't want to be in a wedding I don't condone. I wasn't sure if Mike had said yes officially so I called him to ask if he was standing in it and he said yes. He laughed at me when I told him she asked me.

I told him maybe I'll say yes, too, and we can cut up in the pictures. He said he would disappear for an hour... (This same friend, we'll call him Bob, was an usher in our wedding, and he disappeared just before taking group pictures. It turned out he was in the bathroom...)

Oh and I lysoled again and pulled off his sheets and blankets and all our pillowcases and they are in washer now

Then I Lysoled the actual pillows and mattreses and whole house


This is really getting old

wow, that virus seems to have made itself at home in your house. I really hope you are able to get rid of it so none of you catch it again.

yeah, she really DOES! She is very selfish. And everything is "the wedding this", "the wedding that" Her focus right now should be that baby!
She mentioned that she only got $300 rather than the $600 stimulus...and then "Bob" said "I wish she had gotten the full $600 because that extra $300 could have gone towards the wedding"
And the first thing I thought was "That could have bought plenty of diapers for the BABY YOU'RE ABOUT TO CONCEIVE!"

I have to hold my tongue a lot around them. They seem to think this baby isn't going to cost THEM a thing because they have WIC and Medicaid. And to top it off, he was always SO AGAINST getting governmental help.
WIC nor Medicaid pays for diapers....among other things!

that is just so sad. They really will be in for a rude awakening when that baby comes along. That poor kid.

Thanks for the input. I haven't officially said yes. I guess I should though. I will tell her I will only be in it if I can be paired with Mike. Normally I wouldn't say anything like that, but if she can be childish than so can I! Also I don't feel like answering a million questions about why we didn't walk together.
I already went and looked at the dresses at David's and I found a couple that were "online only" and on sale for $80.00. Hopefully I can get a deal like that when the time comes. The lowest "regular priced" dress is $120.00 The ones I like the most are way up there in $.

The biggest problem I have with this is that I can't roll my eyes through the vows if I am standing up there. And if they ask if anyone has any reason the 2 should not be wed, would it be wrong of me to speak up if I'm actually IN the wedding?

I hope you can find one you like that's on sale when the time comes. I see you already decided to be as sexy as possible in the wedding. I was gonna suggest that

Good job! I am kinda bummed they are doing that again. The reason they got such a "good response" is because the people that didn't get it because the greenfield was messed up so bad didn't complain! I got it but it was really hard, and only attributed to the fact that the glitch allows more than one survey in a day.

I'd much rather the 20 cents for each survey again like they did a few months ago

Yeah I was bummed to see they were doing that one again too. This is the 3rd month in a row. It's really hard to get those 26 surveys..especially when SR acts up like it did last month. I don't think I'll be getting the big bonus this month since I've already missed a weeks worth of surveys.

Ok, let me try this yet again...........last week one night we took a ride out International Drive. We came across the worlds largest McDoodles and naturally we had to stop and we took tons of photos. I am going, once again, to try to post them for you all to see. That McDoodles was so cool! We are going back one night to eat.

Once we saw the outside and how big it was we decided to go on inside, coming up next, inside the worlds largest McDoodles!!!

So, I go to the grocery store today and I'm pushing StinkerBell around in one of those huge freaking carts that look like a fire truck. I'm in an old college tshirt and jean shorts with my hair in a pony (this is important later ) I'm in the baking aisle and a man in his 50's stops and starts talking to StinkerBell. He then asks me where the spices are located and I said right at the end of this aisle. He thanks me and then moves on. I go further down the aisle to get something and he comes back and starts asking StinkerBell what her name is. I tell him she is shy and will not answer. He says that's ok and walks away and then says very loudly "Damn is she cute, just like her Mom" I'm like...OK...and I get the heck out of that aisle He then comes down the next aisle and asks me if StinkerBell has a Dad No ******...I just wear a wedding ring for no reason. I say, YES...Thanks and BYE! He walks away and says..."Couldn't hurt asking"

Ahhhhh....the joys of meeting pervs at the grocery store
