I'm soo ashamed, I fell asleep for about 30 mins. on the couch while catching up with you guys.


Had a busy weekend with the new house. We had to replace the hallway toilet cause it was leaking and Sat. night during a rain storm DH was looking up at the ceiling in the master bathroom, I thought he was looking at what all we needed to do to repaint the room. Nope, he said " You see that?" I said " What?" DH- "That drip"
Great I thought there's a leak in the frickin' roof, it's never gonna end with this house.
So on Sunday, after he put in the new toilet, DH climbed up into the attic to see how bad it was. It's not the roof leaking but there's a gap between the roof and the exhaust fan outlet (pipe?). So DH said all he needs to do is climb up on the roof and seal the gap up and then patch up the little piece of dry wall in the attic that got damaged from the leak.
After hearing that it's not the roof = big $$$$ I could breathe alittle easier.


Today has just been SSDD like it has been the past couple of weeks with laundry and dishes thrown into the mix. This evening the boys & DH are going to #1DS's football practice while DD and I stay home and unpack a few of her boxes and get her room looking like it should. I think she has been needing a little time alone with her mommy (been a busy few weeks with starting kindergarten and moving), so this will probably help.

Hi Luv, Sorry about the leak but at least it was something small and easily repaired!! Good thing that DH caught it early before it did any more damage to your ceiling!!!!

I am dejunking or decluttering my house.

I have one trash bag half filled and I have made a few of those UPS boxes and putting stuff in there that I am not sure if hubby needs for something and putting it all in the basement


That way later on if he asks for something that used to be up here, I can just point him in the right direction

I just looked over and DS figured out how make the UPS boxes and just needed me to give him some tape to seal it.....

He is just the sweetest little thing and so smart!!! Of course I may be a bit prejudiced but he really is smart and sweet and cute!!!

I'm BACK!!!! Our computer totally crashed on us the last time i was on in the MIDDLE of a POST!!! So today shannon went out to get us a garbage can because we missed the garbage truck and I wasadament we HAVE to have a can!!! So since it is my birthday he acknowledged the fact and went out and brought home a garbage can AND a computer!!! 12 months interest free. So the plan is to make the min. pay and then in Jan pay it off with his grant refund from college since he has to have one for college. So I got a garbage can! A computer and ulcers and a wonderful microwave cake made by Braeton!! I was allowed to take 2 bites and then as i went to put up the phone he ate it FOR me!!! He was so cute explaining to his Daddy how he made me the bestest cake and mommie said he was the best chef and Shannon saysWow can I have some and Braeton replies. It's all gone. e had chocolate on his nose, forehead and all over his hands!! i just LOVE my babies!!!
So what did I miss out on this week! Ugh a whole week and I was already behind!!!

My Deal of the day is I have bought 3 tubes of colgate Total whitening for $4.09 and I recieved @6 dollars of store bucks!! So I made some money on that deal!!! I have enough coupons to get some more so I'll be doing some shopping tomorrow. Hey at least my teeth will be clean!!!

Good morning everyone

We are back from our trip to the beach. Well we never made it to the beach. We started out at the waterpark and had a great day. The next morning was a wander around town, shop, eat dinner day and we didn't make it. DD woke up throwing up. High fever soon followed. We attempted to go out mid day because she had stopped throwing up and wanted to go but didn't work. So back to the hotel room with tv and take out. I tried to convince DH to stay an extra day but no dice. She is better now --- seems it was a 24 hour bug. I think she caught something at the water park.

I will attempt to catch up a little later. I think I am going to take DD to the mall to get school clothes and cheer her up.

So, I mentioned quite a few posts ago that I want to do my kitchen in Mickey. It is currently done in apples which I like but I'm just tired of it and need a change. Anywho...I hopped onto Disney Direct and was looking at the M Mouse Collection and fell in love with it I've always wanted to have a Fiestaware collection and the M Mouse collection looks like Fiestaware but with Mickey!!! So, the color I was looking at is all on sale! It's called Atta Boy Blue! My kitchen counters are blue (not by my choice) and this looks like it will go PERFECT. I've had my cart filled for 3 days and finally hit the purchase button today Here are the things I got!!!

I think this will be a great start! I already have a Mickey platter and napkin holder!!!

So you hit the big purchase button huh? That's awesome! I love those blue Mickey items for your kitchen, they will look great. Once you get them and get your kitchen set up you have to post pictures!!!!!

I am so happy it's almost 5:00!

Weather permitting, I might be driving to see my Grandma. She's not doing any better. In fact, she's completely catatonic.

My cousin (the one I am close to) said she'd ride with me tonight. Mike is working til 7 and visiting hours are til 8. It will take us at least 40 minutes to get there unfortunately. So I won't be around at all tonight if we do go. I really feel like I should. But part of me is so worried because I don't want to see her that way. I think I will end up crying and I don't want to do that in front of her.

I will let y'all know if we decide to go

Be strong sweetie, just let her know you are there and you love her, that is the best thing you can do! YOu can cry outside of her room!!!! Let me know how you are after!

I think you would make a great Alice!!!! I think the interview went okay but they did not have any positions right now but I am now on the list. I did, however get a temp position through the temp agency I signed up with two days ago. They sent me for an interview today and the lady liked me a lot right off and said she didn't need to interview anyone else, she wanted me so I go in for 3 hours Friday and then start Monday!!! it's right across the street from Sea World so it's 17 miles from where we are living and the pay rate is excellent for a starting salary!

well, my cousin and I saw Grandma tonight. It was sad. She is being very stubborn. We tried to give her some ice, or at least moisten her lips with it, and she pressed her lips together indicating she did not want it. She looked like she was going to cry at many points. We talked to her and she did not talk back, she made faces but wouldn't even nod or blink or anything. I fear she is giving up.
We told her that God wants her here and that she wouldn't be here if that was not the case. We told her to not let go and that we love her and we have lots of people praying for her to get better.

That was one of the hardest things I have done. I wish she would talk and eat again. Please keep her in your prayers.

I'm so sorry. I can't help but believe that it is better that your Grandma knows that you love her and are there for her. She may not acknowledge you nut she knew. I know because of the weeks I was in ICU and I was not cognizant I knew. I remember somethings from that time.
