Well, You all know that DS hates getting his hair cut


We let it get long enough, where it was getting in his eyes and he finally had enough and actually asked for a haircut last week


So, we took him today after work and he did great. No whining or crying. In fact he talked the hairdressers ears off and she could not stop laughing at him

The teacher is math, the band teacher is a little fire cracker of a woman. And I don't like Jr's either I think it's totally unfair. I have a cousin that was like the fifth and he named his kid the same so he was the sixth and now there is a seventh. Give the kids a break get an imagination people.

I was just about to go to bed after walking Beau when Sharky got on so I had to sign back on to see pictures of my precious Huey!!!

I agree, give the kid his own identity!

We went right after work to get ds hair cut, then to Wally World, then to my Mil, then home, then to another Wally world and now we home

That totally reminds me something I've been meaning to tell you! My Walgreen's has little kid sized Mickey Mouse folding camp chairs! How perfect would that be for Huey to use at FW! Here's a pic I found on ebay~

Illness is a big trigger for Abby too! I've thought many times about putting her in a bubble!




Brace yourself! Abby without fail used to always get sick 2 weeks into school! Since we switched to year round though it's better. One thing that helps a lot too, I think, is make him wash his hands as soon as he gets home. The school will probably be really diligent about hand sanitizer... I know our's is.

Well, I finally get a minute on the computer, I'm all caught up and no one is here! Guess I'll go catch up on my other threads! See ya!

Hi Everyone!! I came to visit, and hope some of you are here!!!! I miss you all alot, it's been so hectic working full time all day and working at home at night so tonight I took a nite off!!!!

You didn't tell me that about the nurse honey, ,tha'ts great to know they have a nebulizer there at the school. I was worried about that myself.

She seems really nice. I talked to her for a few mins when I registered him. I am going to call the doctor to get an extra mask/tubing for him to keep at school

I guess he is OK about it. I breathed a sigh of relief today. I thought the poor baby was going to be Josh Jr so I was coming up with nicknames, I decided on Shooey instead of that name. And her Mom told me NO the baby was not going to be a Jr.

I think he is going to be named Jason. Is that right?

Thanks, I wish I could say I'm looking forward to a relaxing weekend but oh well. I'm getting together with my Mom on Saturday probably and my Dad is coming over to the house to help Chris fix the fridge. Sunday I should be doing and cleaning and such since Chris will be working. Hopefully I'll at least be able to DIS a bit more this weekend than I have been lately.

Well, I woke up today with a killer headache. I was trying to do my hair for work, but it felt like I was being stabbed in the eye and repeatedly whacked in the head with a baseball bat. So, I sent Melissa a text message to tell her I was taking a sick day, so here I am.

Speaking of my hair, I'm sure y'all wanna hear a hair story, right?

So yesterday, I was feeling really good. It was the first day in about a month and a half that I didn't have a headache (I'm paying for that today). After work, I stopped at my usual hair salon. My usual girl wasn't there, so I went with one of the guys instead.

Most of my hair is now my natural color, which is JET BLACK. I got most of the over processed junk cut out when I got it all chopped off. But I've been getting it highlighted. I started off with magenta highlights, which I got done twice. I realized they don't stay in for more than two weeks. Then, I had it purple. I really liked the purple, and that stayed for about a month.

Since Rosey wasn't there with my purple yesterday, I told Ryan to just give me blonde highlights, and make them as blonde as he can get them.

When he was done, he made my hair completely straight. I love it! I'm not the kind of person to stay with one color for too long, but I think I might keep this one awhile.

Now, for the bad part of all this.

Y'all know how Joe goes out and does whatever he wants whenever he wants, right? If I go out and do anything, and don't let anybody know ahead of time exactly where I am and what time I'll be home, I've got all the in-laws calling me to find out where I am. Yesterday, it started with my MIL. Then my SIL. Finally, at 4:30 (which is about 1/2 hour later than I usually come home), Joe called me. Well, I didn't pick up any of the phone calls. How are you supposed to talk on the phone with foils on your head or while you're getting rinsed? I still have the text messages I got from him. Here's some nasty stuff. I'll even put in the spelling errors for ya (even though they irritate the heck outta me).

Him: U wanna tell me y u cant call me back or maybe cause your to busy doing something else

Me: Actually I am.

Him: Whats that surely cant be working

Me: At least you know I'm coming home at some point.

Him: Ya right what ever

Him: There's no way your still at work so what your telling me is that your at a bar

Me: No, I'm not you.

Him: Yep me and the kids are getting drunk

Him: So where are ya then 2 nights in a row your late that doesnt happen (I didn't make it home from work until 6 the night before and I WAS working)

Me: Why don't you ask Melissa or Sharon why I was late yesterday.

Him: U still havnt answered my question

Me: When I get home you will figure out where I was, and then I expect an apology.

I got home at about 5:30. At about 10:30, I finally got my apology, but not before he told me it was my fault, and I should always let him know if I'm going somewhere. He also told me that my hair looked really nice. I think I'm going to have to change it now.

Yeah that's what Kathy tells me. The last I heard was that Josh wanted to name him Jr. That's why I was under that impression. I do not like the Jr. thing. I think it is a vain selfish thing. Just my opinion. I'll post pictures of his outfit after I give it to Stephanie today.

Heads up. My signature is going to change. We have to cancel our trip. Scotty's plant is cutting hours and I think it would be irresponsible to spend any extra money right now. I am a firm believer in the fact that there is a reason for everything and I know that everything will be OK.

I hate the spelling errors myself. That is the one thing I hate about the age of texting and email. If I am unsure of my spelling on something I check it out.

As far as changing your hair because he likes it don't because you like it and that is more important.

If Scotty or anyone else did the calling bit to see where I was I would be as nasty as they come. In October I am doing an Oprah seminar type thing in San Francisco and I can guarantee no one will text or call me. They all know I won't answer or tolerate it at all. You are a better woman than I am.

That's good to know Tat, thank you. I was curious when I should cash out, now I know I can go until about the midding of September, give me a chance to get a little more cash in my account. Whatever I get I feel is good because I didn't have it before.

well, it's not all the time that it comes that quickly. They say to give it 3 to 4 weeks. It just depends on how many people are cashing out at a particular time, and how busy they are. They have to go buy a certain amount of gift cards depending on how many people ordered, and then put them all in their envelopes to send out, and I don't think they necessarily do it every single week.
