Hi all,

To start off we are all having a GREAT time in Orlando!

I'm curious to know if anyone knows anybody that had their flight cancelled by Virgin on the 14th of August, I'm curious to know the outcome? we had ours cancelled vs15 @ 12:30, I don't blame Virgin for the weather, however I was shocked to their lack of commitment in trying to orginise allternative flights! We got here in the end via New York, which was our choice, I won't be flying Virgin after our return and am looking to write a few letters when we're home.

Regards

Sorry I can't answer your question, but I wanted to say enjoy the rest of your holiday!! I'm glad you are having a great time!

From the news reports BA were the worst offenders toward their passengers apparently they just washed their hands and pleaded "act of God" Brittania travellers also did not fare well!!! I think they were all caught out, even thouh they had prior warning, something to do withstaff having problems at home and not turning up for work!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad you are having a wonderful time :)

Can't wait to hear all about it on your return !

Hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday:Pinkbounc

BA were awful. We were lucky in that we were flying on the sat but we saw the letter the poor people got that were due to fly on the friday. They got no help whatsoever and had to queue for standby. Virgin at least seemed to put on extra flights.
We had to stand in the check in queue for 3 hours before we knew we were getting home but at least we got home.
