The Final Chapter

Our last day was spent in three different groups today. Mom went off on her own, the guys all went shopping at DTD and DD and me went to MGM for the day.

So this was Britt’s day…

Her absolute favorites are the rockin roller coaster and tower of terror. We hit the Tower first, no lines, no waiting.

We did have to stop for a minute to wait to enter the tv room, this is such a pretty place-even with all the cobwebs.

I’ve gotten into the habit of taking pictures of our pictures
They are a little blurry but B and me are in the back row right side.
That’s my Cheshire cat visor down around my neck so I wouldn’t lose it.
(If you were wondering)

This was the only shot I took at RRC, it’s an autographed shot of Aerosmith

We criss-crossed that park all day long. On the way over towards the Great Movie Ride we saw all the characters but the lines were just too long to wait.

Britt took her time checking out all the feet and hand prints

We found flick

and went to see the Muppets

It was raining on and off all day. DD actually remembered we had PS for the family at the 50’s PT Café so we headed over there to change our ressie to 2 people and were seated within 10 minutes of arriving.

It really is a lot of fun eating there. All the servers were in character that day

DD asked for ketchup and got a mickey made for her on her plate

After lunch we did the backlot tour. The new stunt shows looks like a doozy!

By then it was time to go see the Osborne Lights. It was crowded!

This one was my favorite

After an eventful day, Britt and I were ready to head out and go back to CSR.

The guys were “home” by then so we went around and took a few last shots of the resort. We were leaving the next morning to drive home.

Here’s my night shot of the pool

And our view across the lake at night

We left CSR at 4am the next day and drove 15 ½ hours straight home to NJ. (On a normal day this would have taken us 18 hours.) I really need to convince my family to fly, this driving thing is getting old!

It was a great trip, no regrets. We had a very flexible schedule this trip, the kids just don’t appreciate Commando Style

Til next time-TTFN

Yes, it is quite beautiful...I wasn't sure I'd like the place until I got there;)

My Brittany took this shot of the lake, it's one of my favorites from CSR.

Thanx Vettechick!
My family is an interesting group to say the least :teeth:

I wouldn't mind a little grubbin and boozin with your crew :cool2:

I just got back from a long weekend with the ladies and missed having a drinking partner. One beer all day in Epcot just isn't normal

One beer all day long??? :faint:

Well, we'll be there in October...the best time for us boozers to visit the World IMO. Be there or be sober!

Exactly! ... the chocolate milk just doesn't cut it.

I'll be back down again for Christmas and I will have a drinking partner with me this time :teeth:

I went to Germany to have a shot of Apfel Corn & a Beer but never got them...it really isn't the same.

DH and I made up for that when I got home tho ::yes:: :cool1:  ;)

I know you two will have a great trip come October-have one or two for me while your there will ya?! :teleport: :drinking1 :tilt:
