Per @NVDISFamily, they haven’t trimmed them to keep the Grand Villa view….

I have a chainsaw or machete and I’ve trimmed more than a few trees over the years. Just allow me and my family at them and we’ll have it done in a few hours.

They are only sold at candy palace, they don’t make them every day, and they do sell out.

I still don't think construction has anything to do with ditching early entry or the extra gate. Because it's honestly barely any extra time for construction. And construction isn't that close to where that entry was.

I do think they will eventually add new entryways into the parks but I don't think it will happen until all of the west side Disneyland Forward park expansions happen. (I wonder when that will even be....)

If losing early entry was due to the construction push for DCA, then they just could have done early entry for Disneyland.

They have different perspectives. Fresh Baked is incredibly thorough and consistent content & Brickey talks about the design language of what’s going on.

I have found that owning both makes me appreciate each one more in a way that I could not if we were going to the same property every trip.

I can’t imagine buying VDH unless direct and I can’t imagine spending that amount on a restricted resort, but I do hope to try it one of these days! (probably rental)
You don’t do split stays right, just bank and borrow for separate trips?

Correct, VDH direct and resale are completely different products.

I can’t imagine ever doing a split stay at DL…
