First time at VGC ... we were surprised there were no plates/bowls/utensils in our studio. Or am I misremembering stays at other studios?
Those items should have been in one of the cabinets above the sink. I’ve also found them missing a couple of times; called the front desk to have them delivered and also reported it on the quick survey one can complete by scanning the QR code in the lobby or on the TV. Those quick survey comments are read by a hotel manager within a couple of hours as I often get a call from someone about my comments, good or constructive.First time at VGC ... we were surprised there were no plates/bowls/utensils in our studio. Haha, "tube feed" - I take it that refers to frantic consuming of YouTube videos? Very relatable with the young ones in my extended family l, and exactly what they did at the lounge when we were there in June
Oh dear! Thanks for telling me! Sorry if my comment seemed insensitive @MagicDVC , I misunderstood.I'm not sure if you're joking or what. But just in case you're not....
That isn't what "tube feeding" is. Tube feeding refers to someone who gets their nutrition through a tube, typically in the abdomen (could be into the stomach or intestine, depending on the type.) If you google tube feeding you can learn more. But that's the gist of it.
No worries, I didn't really know anything until we had a special needs baby. We try to keep things discreet and she'll run around with her little backpack. Not going to lie, there's some YouTube scrolling going on in the lounge.Oh dear! Thanks for telling me! Sorry if my comment seemed insensitive @MagicDVC , I misunderstood.
I love that lounge. Very nostalgic!Hanging out in StarView… we still have the free style machines!
I did not. Luck of the draw.I feel like we all get put on the 4th floor. Did you have any room request beforehand?

We've had 1509 both times we've stayed there, and will likely have it again our next trip. But that's because its the only hearing accessable studio. Someday maybe we'll stay on a higher floor, but sometimes its nice to never have to deal with the elevator.
Also gave us pretty good insight to the refurb, since we stayed in the same room June of '24 and July of '25.

When we booked these, we were not. My wife is hard of hearing so we generally try to grab the hearing accessible rooms. Are you not a VGC owner?
