Thanks for sharing them with us. So - how was the "Girls Only Weekend"? Did you have lots of fun? How did you guys make out by themselves?

Pam, we had a fabulous time. The weather was in the 60's and blue sky and the city was just wonderful. DH and DS did just fine, although DH said it seemed like I was gone forever. DS made we a welcome home banner and gave me some chocolate kisses, but the best part was getting off of the train and DS running to me with his arms wide open! Also on the way home DH stopped and bought me flowers, it was a great way to end a great trip! Thanks for asking.

My son is 6-1/2, but he didn't go with me, this was a ladies-only trip. However, my son has been to Rome before, but he was still young enough to be in a stroller, I believe he was two at the time he went. I do hope to bring him another time because it is such a wonderful city.

Debbi, breath taking. I hear Michelangelo's La Pieta is equally as breath taking. I am amazed the things he did with a hammer and chisel. Truely God worked through his hands.

Wow! What gorgeous pictures. Thanks for sharing! Sounds like a fabulous "girl" time, hard to imagine running off to Rome for a weekend! It is a nice fantasy though! Goodness, that was a heartfelt welcome home, how "sweet" of your DH and DS.
