I have used this product on multiple trips and it really solves the problem when your DVC bed only has a nightstand on one side of the bed. It is durable, inexpensive, transports easily (or stores in an owners locker because it is tiny folded up). It is not for containers holding liquid however. But, for iPads, phones, remotes, etc it is great!

Very good idea. My wife was recently complaining about hotels that only have one nightstand and how that makes things very inconvenient for us (we both like to have our phones beside us to see the time and set separate alarms.)

My husband has a cpap machine so he always gets the bedside table side of the bed. I hate not having a place to put my glasses. I love this idea. Thanks!

The ad says it hold 4X it's own weight, which is 1 pound. So it looks like it will hold a maximum of 4 pounds.

That's a great idea! Everytime we go I think how I need to figure out something to bring for a nightstand. No matter where we go my DH always gets the left side of the bed and I take the right so one of us is always without a nightstand. In the past I have typically taken one of the trash cans in the room & turned it upside down to use the bottom of it as a shelf in that narrow little space on that side of the bed. However in January we didn't have any spare trash cans in our studio!! I thought WTH? I guess they have started removing spare cans so that these new "trash collections" are faster with fewer cans to dump?!
