We got to Disney late Sunday night and checked in at the CR, we had a GW standard view room....it was the ONLY room type available at the CR for the 3 nights we were staying. It was at this point that the CM informed me that there was a booking problem so I was being upgraded to a hospitality suite.....I had no idea what this room was. He said the room was a "litte bigger and had a living room and kitchen". I thought COOL, this might be a little larger than the standard room. We walk into the room and it looked just like a regular CR room, the door that normally can connect two rooms was ajar so my oldest daughter walked in and yelled WOW!!!!. My first apartment wasn't this big. We had over 2,000 sq ft of room. There was a large TV with blu-ray player, large couch and chairs, large dining table, kitchen with Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and full-size frig. There was a total of 3 bathrooms (with 3 daughters I don't have to mention how nice this was), the middle one had a large tiled walk-in shower and double sink. No balcony but my kids couldn't have cared less. My 3 yr old loved the room so much that she mentioned while in the parks that she wanted to go back to the room!!! Made a quick trip to the Wal-Mart on Vineland to stock up on food to take advantage of having the kitchen and saved alot of money on meals. Great room, great upgrade.

Now for the parks: Epcot was by far the least crowded, Soarin was walk-on last night as was Test Track. HS was the most crowded both days we tried it dispite what the crowd calendar predicted. MK was a mixed bag. some rides were walk-on while another ride had a long line. ToonTown was very crowded as might be expected. The weather was all over the place, we had hot, cold, rain, wind. The tour groups were NOT gone, matter of fact, yesterday they were just about as bad as the worst time in July. HS was a sea of long dark hair as far as the eye could see with varying colored flags waving above their heads in the middle of the group.

It rained Monday night but since we had that mega-room I just picked up the movie UP and Tower of Terror at DTD and we watched them on the couch. The kids didn't complain a bit.

All-in-all, this was probably our best trip ever.

Wow you guys got sprinkled some major pixie dust!
Glad to hear you had a fabulous trip!

WOW!! That is amazing. It is so nice to hear stories like that. Glad you got to enjoy it.

Good night! I didn't realize just how much of an upgrade this really was...I just checked out what that room would have cost if I paid the regular rate. $1015 per night for the dates we stayed!!!!

I wouldn't mind Disney messing up my reservations if the outcome would be like yours. Congrats to you and your family. Pictures, pictures, I'd love to see that suite.

Pictures !!! We wanna see. What a heap of pixie dust !! How exciting and I bet it set the mood for a fantastic trip !! We all dream of this happening to us one day !!

I'd love to post some pics but for some reason under the posting rules it says I may NOT post attachments. Do you have to post a certain amount of posts before this is taken off?

Went over to the tech forum and figured out how to post pics...here are a few, these are of the bonus room and not of the bedroom which is basically just like a regular CR room.
