Sorry you did not get your dinner. You have a great attitude about it. You should check back tomorrow because from what these boards are posting, some adr's may drop off. Too bad for the people who may loose them. I would be really really upset if that happenened to me, but if they do fall off other people will scoop them up fast. Good luck

And I completely agree. I can understand people being upset at people who are holding reservations they don't intend to keep, but if someone wants to eat there 5 times, are other Disney fanatics really going to judge?

I will pray that all of you who didn't get a reservation will get wonderful counter service with no lines.

I'm so sorry it didn't work out and I really hope something comes available for you!! I heard people made reservations for the same time every day of their trip, surely they aren't keeping them all so keep trying when you can!! Periodically check online after the 8/22 date!!

We are just thrilled to be able to go this year at all - and my mom is celebrating her 1st trip - and I know it will be absolutely magical Be Our Guest or no Be Our Guest! I was super super super bummed, but in the great scope of things it really isn't that big of a deal. We'll hopefully be able to at least have lunch and I'll continue checking to see if I can get a ressie between now and then for dinner! It's Christmastime at Disney - magic abounds - no complaints for me.

Wow. Just wow.

I called 47 times. Yes, 47 times. I got through on the 48th call and was awarded with an estimated 75 minute wait (and I PAY for my long distance calls ). The CM was overwhelmed - so frazzled - she said she had NEVER seen Disney Dining like this before! She was kind though and looked at each and every one of my dates. November 26-December 6 and absolutely ZERO availability. Am I bummed? You better believed it! I already ordered my son a Beast costume and my daughter a Belle costume and now they have no dinner to wear it to! Am I blaming my lack of luck on the good luck of others who got 1, 2, or 10 reservations for themselves? Absolutely not. They paid their dues, they dialed and dialed until they got through to a CM, they rearranged their schedules to fit BOG in, and they had better luck than I did! Why in the world should I be mad at them?? They paid their thousands of dollars for their vacation just like I did - they are entitled to whatever reservation they choose! In fact, if they want BOG dinner every single night of their week long trip that should be just fine.... It's no different than me having two candlelight processionals booked for the most popular narrator, or three BBB appointments, or two CRT reservations... Some people really, really, really need to lighten up! I'm super bummed, my mom who is celebrating her 1st trip and probably her ONCE IN A LIFETIME TRIP is very upset, and my daughter actually cried - but why take it out on others? What good does that do?



Oh - and little tidbit of info. The CM I talked to was very helpful - very apologetic that there were no ressies during my stay - but reminded me about lunch. She said it will be a wonderful dining experience even at lunch. She also said that lunch will only be held in *ONE* of the rooms - the Castle Gallery with larger than life Belle and Beast rotating figures. This room will not be open during dinner per the CM.

I wasn't even debating the right or wrong of it earlier - just stating that someone posts their good fortune and it is like this swarm of ugly/judgemental posts. Calling people selfish, etc.... I have seen it on other threads too. Remember the daily winners after New Years? Wow!!!

But, after reading this and your positive attitude.....so refreshing. Thank you so much for posting!

Who told you this? Just wondering because we have been trying to get a MK dinner ADR for Dec 4th like 6 weeks checking 4-5 times/day and absolutely nothing has been available. I thought surely the people that booked BOG that day would at least free up something else (anything else!) when they cancelled their previous/conflicting dinner ADR. I was one of the many who started calling prior to 7am this am, got through after 3 hours to no availabilty...

I think the restaurants book up especially when there's a party. The Plaza almost always has availability but it's pretty much booked on party nights. I think it's more so that then anything else. But then again, what do I know?!?!

Mine isn't showing anymore either. Moozle, December 19th, 6:45pm, 6 people. I REALLY wanted December 16th at 6:45pm (we aren't going to MVMCP) and figured it was just booked because it took me so long to get through (didn't get through until around 11:30 eastern), but now it looks like they aren't giving any reservation on party nights. I am THRILLED to have gotten one at all though, and at least it's a day we were planning on being at MK anyway.

So there are still tables left? Many people are getting reports that everything is full in December.

i was told dec4.5.6. were blocked and wouldnt take any reservations because of a special event.

I have an ADR on Dec. 4th too...3 people, 4:20pm. They gave you the wrong info. There is no info anywhere about a special event on the 4th or 5th. The 6th is the fantasyland grand opening though.

I'll be in MK on the 4th and 5th! Don't know of any special events taking place either of those days. I was able to get all of my ADR's 180 days out with no problem. Not sure what is going on. I did check to see what else was available on the 4th and 5th a few nights ago and I see what you mean. There was nothing available anywhere. Even the xmas parade taping is before these days.

DH got a confirmation, but doesn't remember giving a phone number, did give a credit card, and I can't pull it up.....it takes the number, doesn't give me an error message, but nothing adds to my list....

I would give it at least 24 hours. I cant see it on my ressie list either.

Yes you are right that there is no reservations for lunch.

And as far as I am finding, they will have one room open for lunch and the other two are for dinner. As of right now they have not released what hours lunch will be served...I would assume they would open around 11am just not sure when the last lunch service is.

Finally got one for Dec. 27th. Only time left was 4:10pm so I took it! I asked about Dec. 29th but the only time available was 8:45 pm which I thought was too late for the kids. The important thing is that I initally tried the automated system which told me nothing was available for the 29th or the following two days. I hung in there and spoke to a live agent and was given the 8:45 option on the 29th. She then checked another day and found my 4:10 (which is earlier than I would like but my only option). I'm just saying this so that you guys don't rely on the automated system if it says nothng is available. Also, it is one table service and a credit card is required. If it is cancelled within 24 hours or no show, you are charged $10 per person. Good luck everyone!! At least they do have the fast service option (which they don't in CRT) so we'll all get to see the inside of this castle!!

It's still not requiring a cc hold, so keeping my fingers crossed that it sticks! I can see it in my online reservations. Glad I didn't try calling earlier today--sounds like a total nightmare!!

The bright side of closing 5:30 on mvmcp nights...is it makes a lot more sense hoe earl December reservations went faster than Christmas week. When I saw that people couldn't get in 12/3 but others were booking 12/25 I had a panic moment...how busy is it going to be early December...ha!

I think FLE is not going to be open party night, hence the 5:30 pm closing. They already said they were not decorating for holidays this year n the new areas...so this makes sense to me.

Oh...and clogging the phones up more than people rightfully making a second reservation were the thousands of people who already had a reservation but had to CALL back to give cc # to secure it because internet sites and CMs were spreading the word that they were all canceling out at 10 pm... apparently erroneously.

You might want to call back and speak to an agent to add your cc#. The system aslo did not ask for my CC# and when I called back the CM said it was a good thing I did because there was a chance the ressie could be cancelled. Better safe than sorry!
