Has anyone taken a Peg Perego Venezia stroller to WDW? We will be there for 10 days in September with a 1 1/2 year old (staying at POP and using Disney transportation). I was originally planning to take an umbrella stroller--I thought about buying a Maclaren Triumph, Quest or Techno. Do you think the Venezia will work out well, or should I get something else?

Any insight/suggestions would be appreciated.

I would just rent if it is just for the trip. See my post two above this one for the info. Hope this helps. The strollers that this company has are much easier to use than the ones that you have mentioned.

My personal opinion is to take what your child is used to and most comfy in. Also whichever one you are used to using the most. It could be pretty stressful in a busy place like Disney trying to learn a new stroller. You have to be able to close them up quick to get on the busses, and you'll be able to do that with the one you are most used to. Hope that helps.

we have a peg p3, I was thinking of getting the rain cover and attachable bag for our trip. does anyone have either of these? I was hoping the bag would hang nicely so it wouldn't bang in to me when I am pushing the stroller. You gotta love a stroller w/ so many accesories!!

Thanks for the input. Anything we use will be new to us, but we still have time to get used to anything. We just got the Venezia this weekend (at a garage sale for $32). We love our Jeep 3-wheel stroller, but it is too hard to carry and too bulky for me to manage on the bus. I am leaning towards taking the Venezia just because of the extra shade it will provide. OH, just go to the store and test out a Mac, that should be all the excuse you need. We are looking into purchasing one too. Just trying to decide between the different styles. I want it to use around the neighborhood and for quick outings. We love our Graco too, but man, it is soooo easy to push the mac. My husband thinks I'm nuts for wanting to buy another stroller, but he also hasn't tested it out yet. I think once he does he will not think I'm crazy anymore!!!

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with this. Our kids are almost 5 and 2, and am wondering which stroller to bring...Phil and TEd's E3 or 2 Maclaren Triumphs.

I'm thinking that the Mac's would be good cause they're so lightweight, great for the airports and if we're doing something where my 5yo won't need the stroller we can just leave one of them in the room.

On the other hand, the E3 is such a comfortable stroller for them...except if the 2yo needs a nap in the 2nd seat (which doesn't recline). He can sleep there, but since we don't go back to our hotel for naps I need him to be comfortable for the 2.5 hours he sleeps in the stroller. The other negative is that I hate flying with this stroller - it's such a pain!

What would you guys do? Thanks in advance!

Any suggestions for me? My dd is 5 and we are taking a 9-day trip in November. I don't think we will need a stroller for the entire trip, but it may come in handy later in the day or later in the week.

My dd is 45" tall and weighs 45 pounds.

I actually just use a generic rain cover for our P3. I think it is a Safety 1st one...around $8. It worked perfect because it covered the entire stroller including the backside where we had a backpack hanging.

We were there last September and that week it poured and poured each night for hours so I am glad we thought to buy one. It kept everything nice and dry! LOL

I have a P&T and a Pliko P3....and we are DEFINITELY taking our Pliko to Disney. It's much easier to fold (folds like an umbrella) and just more portable, YKWIM? It reclines flat (just take out the silver tabs in the back...they are only in US models...not sure why?), has a snack tray, and is much lighter. Oh - and the sunshade...how can I forget that....comes all the way down to cover the entire front of the stroller. It will be GREAT for Disney!!

The last 2 trips to WDW, we have taken 2 different Peg P3's. they are perfect for WDW! They aren't bulky and heavy and the sunshade is great for full coverage. I have a slight stroller obsession and these are one of the best for Disney I have tried so far (and I currently own about 10+ higher end strollers LOL).

I actually just sold one and have the other listed on Craigslist though because we have decided to try a Baby Jogger City Mini for our next trip because of the super duper easy fold. Just pull up on the seat and VOILA! LOL I need it because it is usually just me and youngest DD at night heading back to the resort while DH and older DD head off in another direction.

But I definitely reccomend the P3. We loved both of ours for WDW.

Has anyone tried to get onto the Disney buses with a double jogger? My kids love their's, but I worry about getting it on the bus. We used a Combi twin savvy last time, but my oldest is getting too tall.

Oh, and if you know of a double jogger that folds somewhat compact- PLEASE let me know.

We didn't use a double jogger, but we did use a double Graco stroller (which I would imagine is about the same in the bulky dept.). It was bulky, but if you ask the bus driver to open the back door, they will and you can just walk up the few steps and stand there with it. It's a lot easier than trying to walk through the bus with it, plus it's out of everyone's way. If the back area is already full of strollers, the front works just as well. It really wasn't that bad, and well worth it to have it in the parks IMO. Having the extra storage areas was great.

When my twins were about 18 months we decided to get two single strollers and stroller clips so we could sometimes seperate them. We went with light-weight strollers that were larger than umbrella ones, but not very big and heavy.

I have to say, pushing them both in the strollers clipped together was horrible. It was hard to push and even harder to steer. We eneded up getting a used double umbrella style stroller and just using the other strollers as singles.

However, I'm really hating that I bang the back wheels off of doorways and tight spots. Not only waking up my sleeping son, but hurting my wrists in the process. I've had 3 wrist surgeries so this is a big deal for me.

So after reading here for a few weeks about all the popular strollers for WDW I decided to head to BRU and try them out. We (DH and I both!) fell in love with the Peg Perego Pliko3. I then went online to Albeebaby.com and ordered the 07 model. Great website by the way. I got a $340 stroller brand new for under $180 with free shipping. Can't beat that!

The only thing I don't like about the P3 is there is no parent tray. The cup holder is so-so. It holds my drink and I'm happy for that. But I felt it was missing something. I went online again and ordered the matching diaper bag. All I can say is..........WoW, I love this diaper bag! It's a bit pricey and a bit smaller then it looks online but it's really worth it. It hangs on the stroller perfectly and I don't bang my legs off of it. You can fit in there what you need for a day and it doesn't make the stroller "tippy". It also comes with a huge changing pad. My next purchase is going to be the rain canopy and travel bag.

Just wanted to let you know that there are generic stroller travel bags (I definitely recommend some type of travel bag to keep it clean and safe) and raincovers which work just as well if not better than the Peg ones.

We have used a Peg P3 on our last 2 WDW trips. We ended up buying a Safety 1st generic raincover for about $8 and I really liked it better than the Peg one because it went over top the whole stroller and kept everything dry! The raincover came down quite far so that all the fabric and all of the backside including any bags we had hanging or underneath dry too. And we were there during really bad rain and storms last September.

We have used an Eddie Bauer travel bag as well that worked well. The bag was huge compared to the stroller but all we did was just wrap the extra fabric around the P3 which just gave it a bit more protection. There is another bag out there that looks even better and nicely padded for the P3 by JL Childress. HTH

Is there supposed to be a strap for the back? There are 2 loops on the handle bars....
