Dontcha hate it when you are waiting for someone else to show up. You go back a page or two and see a green light...WAHOO!!!.....oh never mind, that was my old post! Come on guys, admit it, you've done it numerous times yourself.

So have you ever wondered why they programmed it so you see you own green light? Like you wouldn't know if you were on the DIS?

My bf doesn't have to work on July 3rd and I'm off as well. I'm not sure what we're going to do but I'm thinking of the Disney Soda Fountain in Hollywood.

Had a busy night. Made dinner, then weeded the garden and washed the car. Just finally had time to sit down here on the computer not long ago. I was very torn because I'm abou 2/3rds of the way thru a good book and I really wanted to finish it tonight.

We have a company potluck on Thursday for the 4th of July. I'm not sure what to bring but I'm thinking of brining in those giant cupcakes I saw at Costco.

My bf doesn't have to work on July 3rd and I'm off as well. I'm not sure what we're going to do but I'm thinking of the Disney Soda Fountain in Hollywood.

I'm probably going to go in for a few hours on Friday, but then we are headed up to my inlaws at the beach. We are taking our travel trailer and staying until Sunday, then back home. They live about 2 hours away from us, so not to far to drive.

I had my car washed on Sunday. I wanted to wash it myself but it was way too hot outside. I drove it to the local car wash and the cashier asked me where in the heck everyone was. She said it was sooo quiet. What's funny is that about 10 minutes later a bunch of cars showed up.

I finished reading Comfort Food by Kate Jacobs this past weekend. It's a good book and I enjoyed reading it. She's the same author who wrote Friday Night Knitting Club.

I'm always the veggie & fruit tray person at potlucks. I hate those prepackaged ones from the store, so I make my own. I always put the regular fruit & veggies, but then I like to try different things, just to make it unique and get people to try something different.

That sounds like fun! My bf and my little sister and I went to the beach on Sunday. It was sooo nice and mid 60's and it was a nice escape from the hot weather. We wanted to eat at this seafood place but the line was out the door (it's a small fish n' chips joint that's really good). We ended up going to Joe's Crab Shack, which has delicious crab steampots. They have funny t-shirts (I think they are also available on their website). There was one I saw that said: "Crabs Do It Sideways."
