BUT its also good to get to know your family better. If you dont invite him, it could be strange later on, i mean, they are still "technically" family. You never know what the future would hold with him. id say, take that chance and get to know them better!

Her new brother in law lives right next door to her and my step dad, so I guess I could get to know him but I'd rather it not be at my wedding and he's a jerk.

GRRRRR!! It is NOT normal to have people at your wedding you dont know! I hate wedding drama. I thought I was bypassing all that by getting married in Vegas, but I totally didnt. My mom almost didnt come to mine, because we had a HUGE fight right before. She wanted to control the entire thing.. She thought I wasnt planning it right, and tried to take over. NO THANK YOU. It was ugly. My dad paid for it... But my mom didnt know that. He had his own money that he snuck to me on the side.


My mom is the same way.. she has a "crush" on some guy... and is really pushing for us to meet him. We are going for a visit this weekend, and my husband is cleaning out her gutters... She was like, oh, I wish... this dude... was going to be around to help! Then you could meet him! I dont want to! She is crazy. That part of her life is NOT part of mine. I am an adult with my own family. We are visiting HER. I dont care about anyone else! Besides.. My husband can clean gutters out with out some stupid old man helping out!

ANYWAYS! It is your party. Pt your foot down! Unless you would rather just keep the peace with your mom. Sometimes that is more important. right now.. In my life.. Its not. In this kind of thing. It would be more important to me to have a nice time at my party..BUT.. I have a ton of kids that I dont like people around that I dont feel comfortable with. So that totally clouds my judgment.

MAN I am crabby tonight! Jasmine was up ALL night last night. Little turd. Then she wouldnt nap today. All she wanted to do was SCREAM. To top it all off.. We ALL over slept. Well. Me and the kids. We woke up 7:30. Not to bad, except Alex has to be out the door to school at 7:10. Seeing as how we only have the one car, Alex stayed home today. We have got to get a second car for DH to drive to work.

He is back working some over time.. Not a ton, but he went in an hour early, and stayed an hour late. Tomorrow he goes in early again. So he is getting up at 3:30. YUCK. I finally had Jazz alseep last night, and he WOKE her up. Yes. At 3:30. I almost killed him! OH MY GOD. I hear Vinny. I am so done with these babies.

Well I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who has these issues. I understand she just wants me to be a part of her new life but I'm not interested. Her new family is really not my family and I don't need them to be thanks anyway

I feel for you on the screaming baby thing. I couldn't handle it for an hour when I watched my friend's baby. I wanted to throw the kid out the window, well not quite as bad as that but it was very frustrating. Do you have anyone to take the kids for a weekend, I think you should get away for a weekend of relaxation.

I had an exciting day yesterday! I had lunch with my bf at Wood Ranch BBQ, then I found out that the creator of Domokun was going to be at Borders bookstore. I debated whether or not I should go but then thought, you know what? How often do you get the chance to meet the creator of something you are crazy about? Plus this guy is from Japan, so it's not like I would see him often! LOL. I went to the bookstore and waited. At first it was just me and 3 others. Then really late towards the time he was to arrive, a bunch of people showed up. I would say there were at least 100 people. It was really cool! They had someone dressed up as Domokun and we could take pics with them. I took lots of pics, you guys could see it on my facebook. :

They had a raffle and were giving out a Domo magnet, t-shirts from the publishing company (Tokyopop) and one red vinyl domo figurine and one large green one. I won the red one and was so ecstatic!! I waited in line and he signed my 2 manga books and one green plastic domo and the red one. It was really awesome and totally worth it.

Seriously. If I could find someone.. I would PAY them to take my kids for a weekend! But I dont know anyone who isnt afraid of the babies. My mom wont even watch them so we can run out to the store together! oh well.. I am going away in a few months.. Not with my husband, but thats okay. When the twins are grown we will be able to go on a date.

I got SLEEP last night!!! Its a freaking miracle! Jasmine slept until about 6 this morning.. I fed her and put her back to sleep and she was down until 8:30!! Vinny was down until 2, and I put him in bed with me and he slept until 8:30. Can you tell that Kaylee woke up at 8:30?? Sleep is so wonderful. I wish I could sleep every night!

Now I just need to get my fat butt up and clean the house, and pack for this weekend. GAH. I really dont want to go this weekend to my moms house. She was all negative and ooky when I talked to her yesterday. Made me want to kick her in the head. I really need a kick in the head smilie. Someone needs to make one. She got all crazy when I said something about bringing the cloth diapers with us.. She acted like I was going to just take the dirty ones and fling them all over my house. I just might now!

Oh WOW. So i was watching Vampire Diaries this morning. I was SO excited to see they made it a TV show. I LOVED those books when I was in junior high. KEY WORDS... Junior High. Gagaroni. BUT.. The guy that plays Damon... OH MY. What a hot tamale!I couldnt figure out where I had seen him before.. DUH! He was on Lost. Anyways.. I know you all dont care, but it really bugged me!

I read some recent reviews for the Fairfield Inn, they now have the upgraded bedding and have a Pizza hut and Seattle's Best on the 3rd floor. Big improvement over when I was there years ago.

They tend to offer really good rates too.
I would keep this in the running.

yep, I'm trying to do this as cheap as possible. I can purchase Gift cards thru J's marching band scrip program. No savings but a tiny percentage to help pay for band fees, every little bit helps for next year!

Jeez... It is almost 2 already?? I have done next to nothing today. I have mostly packed up.. and done the dishes.. But we are still lounging around in our jammies. Oh well. I have a couple of hours before the MAN gets home from work.

Today has been survey taking and email deleting. I cashed out on a survey program that I had forgotten about until they sent me a new survey to complete.. $15 on the way.

Drained and made batch for E, because of the earlier scew up he only used half a batch before it expired. Hours to drain and 8 hours ot fill.. guess he will run on bagged fluid tonight.

Dishes... peeved because J wrecked one of my pots yesterday making popcorn, the oil is stuck to the bottom. Tried baking soda and it won't come off.

Rescued some photos from the cat, she was licking them. I don't know why, she has a fascination with licking photos maybe the chemicals in the print are sweet??

Yesterday was mailing out rebates ($6 and $5) and coupons (nice batch on the way, hopefully before two of the Enfamil coupons expire.. couple more with longer dates.. no worries)

Meanwhile, I should have pulled some coupons for Saturday shopping. I battled for 20 minutes trying to load a coupon for Boston Market ($1 meal) and gave up (found it on another site). And my bathroom is getting scary looking.

My breast cancer has not come back! That's the good news, the bad news is I most likely have some thyroid problems.

So I guess I can tell everyone the story now. But I'll break it into pieces because everytime I make a long post it seems to not post.

So here goes...

Earlier this summer I started experiencing some symptoms similar to breast cancer that has spread to your bones. I had fatigue, bone aches and pains and something very ominous...swollen lymph nodes on the left side of my neck and jaw. All in all, not a good sign at all and classic symptoms of breast cancer that has metastisized to the bones.

I chose to not see a doctor because if it had spread to my bones, early detection is not a big factor. It will either respond or not to chemo...and the life expectancy is pretty much the same whether caught early or not. I wanted to enjoy this beautiful summer and not have to deal with cancer treatment until this winter.
