You know, it's starting to get depressing for Canadians to visit the Universal side of this board. First we're told about the 3 month deal at Costco only to find out - no go for Canadians. Now we have a great contest, and once again - not if you're a Canadian. Come on Universal, there really are people who visit you from north of the border.

We couldn't participate in the Loews one either. Time for a boycott!!!

Ya, like that's gonna happen!!!

hey, if it makes you feel any better let me tell you i'm in the usa and i can't even enter the contest.

i keep trying it on line to enter and i get the message, sorry, error and then it takes me to a different page away from the contest......:sad2:

Its not discrimination against Canadians only

3. Eligibility. The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (and District of Columbia) who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry.

This is pretty common ... I bet there are "sweepstakes" and such in Canada or any country for that matter that are limited to the country of origin only.

I know you were probably not really serious, but there are legal, national and intergovernmental issues that are most likely the cause of such discrimination.

I wasn't really serious, but there are a lot of contests that are open to both countries so with a little effort, I imagine it could be open to both.

You don't? Why did Homer drive up there to load up and service all of Springfield?

Silly Homer. Some meds may be cheaper but certainly not free. You can often get insurance to cover most of your meds through your employer but free meds certainly aren't the norm.

Seniors and certain other groups are eligible for free meds though (although they have to pay a small dispensing fee). Maybe Homer fit into one of those categories or many of those categories.

pssst, want some meds? will exchange for winning contest entry.

i was able to enter ok just a few minutes ago. . . . ::thumbsup2
