I'm so mad I missed when you were on!

I have a request to ask of everyone: I've had bad news all day today. I need your prayers, thoughts, etc.. please!
1st: they found a "mass" in my mother's breast-- it's been there for 4 years. She's going in for a mamogram/ ultra sound tomorrow. We're very nervous as she's had lumps removed before but a mass is something new to us.

2nd: DFiance's mother had to go to the ER today. She either has pnenomia (spelling?) or a blood clot on her lung.. She's very overweight and the doctors seem very concerned.

3rd: My BFF was just diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). They think her cysts are cancerous and she is going for a biopsy tomorrow. She is devestated. They basically told her she won't be able to have kids which was something she talked about since elementary school- "being a mommy".

Please keep all these people (and me! I'm stressing out like crazy!) in your thoughts and prayers! Thank you, Unicorns!

Rora, I'm so sorry to hear this. I can only imagine how you and your fiance must be feeling right now. I will definitely be praying for your mom, as well as your fiance's mom and your best friend and their families. I really hope that your mom gets a good report after having the mammogram. I hope that your fiance's mom is doing better. Please keep us updated.

Okay.. Super creepy.

I don't know what to tell you. I can't decide if it's best to try to make conversation with him or just ignore him. Does he know you have a DBf? Maybe DBf can come into your workplace someday, bring you flowers and just kinda make himself known. Hopefully your DBf is a muscle man, like the Rock. That'll really show Elvis. But on a serious note, if he continues to make you feel uncomfortable, report him to any authority at your work. If they ignore you, call your corporate or the next person up the chain from your managers or whoever.

Oh, he knows I have a DBf. He doesn't seem to care though. I'd rather not talk to him at all because I used to a little bit, here and there. He just acts worse when I do that because that makes him think I'm interested in him. It's a no win situation. My DBf is meeting me at work today so maybe they'll run into each other in the parking lot I'm sure he can guess who 'creepy Elvis guy' is. That's how I refer to him

Aw, thanks for the birthday wishes, guys! I haven't been on the DIS as often lately; school is really starting to get busy, and I met a guy, and you know how it is with new relationships... I did have a good birthday, though; we went out for dinner Monday night and out for lunch on Tuesday (he was working on my actual birthday). I had a rotten experience back in the summer, so it's nice to be in a good relationship again!

Oh, he knows I have a DBf. He doesn't seem to care though. I'd rather not talk to him at all because I used to a little bit, here and there. He just acts worse when I do that because that makes him think I'm interested in him. It's a no win situation. Just a mini-update: my mom went to get the ultra sound on her breast- the woman who looked at it told her it didn't look like anything was wrong but they'd have to wait for the official results. The woman also said that there was probably some misunderstanding on the part of the doctor who told her to go get the ultrasound I don't care-- as long as she's okay!

DFiance's mom is in intensive care because they found multiple blood clots on her lungs.. She's on blood thinners and when I talked to her on the phone she sounded pretty normal, which is a good sign I guess!

As far as my friend is concerned, she had her biopsy yesterday and said she was in a lot of pain but pretty optimistic.

I'm pretty good!! Just so happy it's the weekend. I'm not doing much except lesson plans and spending time with DFiance. Also, I think today we are going to try to plan our Rehersal Dinner.. which is Disney themed.. any ideas, ladies?!

Sorry I've been MIA! It's been a busy weekend. On Friday I had work and then I took my DBf to Medieval Time's for his birthday. On Saturday we went to Atlantic City with his brothers, their girls, and his friends. Sunday was dinner with his family and a recovery day because we were EXHAUSTED!

Where my Unicorns at?

I'm bored. Work is really slow today and rather than helping people book their trips, I've been planning out my own. I have a 10 day trip in September to the World, including 3 nights on the Wonder. Not much I can do right now but I'm looking into where I want to make ADRs and also looking at this Pirate Dinner Adventure show. Has anyone ever been? I love Medieval Times and it seems similar to that so I'm sure I'd like it. Any good recommendations for ADRs? I've been to San Angel Inn, 50s Primetime, Sci-Fi, Yak & Yeti, Coral Reef and yeah...I think that's it. I was thinking of trying Liberty Tree Tavern this time around cause it looks yummy! Any suggestions would be great!

I'm also thinking of taking a long weekend to Niagara Falls for me and DBf's anniversary at the end of April. I've been there twice but not since 2003 and he's never been.

And I'm waiting (not so) patiently for NKOTB to release more dates for concerts! The others were almost 3 hours away and I was going to get tickets for them but had a change of heart. I'll wait til they come to me!

Where am I getting the funds for all this? Good question!

I haven't seen creepy Elvis guy today!

I've never been to the Pirate Dinner but I'd love to go! I'd also like to go to Medieval Times but no one will go with me.. they think those types of venues are all cheesy and weird. They just don't understand .

As far as ADRs go, I've heard Le Cellier is fantastic. Also, I loved CRT. But I like the Princess-y stuff. Umm.. I'm a huge character breakfast kinda gal and my favorite is Chef Mickey's! It's so goood. It's expensive but hey- what isn't in WDW? Also, if you're looking for in park character dining the Crystal Palace is good. Pooh resides there. DFiance and I went to Liberty Tree once but we hadn't really done our research (this was before my DIS addiction, ) and when we realized 1. that it was family style and 2. how expensive it was for the two of us, we left. I know, I know. We're terrible. We didn't even tell our waitress. We tried but she didn't come back for awhile so we just quietly left.. we didn't order or anything!

And, omg! Yay for no Elvis!

I've heard good things about Le Cellier but that it's almost impossible to get a reservation there. I know the Liberty Tree Tavern is family style but is it really expensive? I thought it was pay one price and it was pretty much all you can eat. That's perfect for my DBf cause he's like a bottomless pit! I'm not sure if we'll do character dining since all the characters will be wandering around on the ship. I mention Chef Mickey's ever time but the DBf's been there and says he doesn't want to spend the money on it. Personally, I think he's just to lazy to get up early on vacation!

Still no signs of Elvis!
