Cast of Characters: Me, Vera, 38, extreme planner and great at "working the system".

Bernard, "B", sweet guy unless you cross him wrong.

Junior, 14, always gets picked on by classmates but has a heart of gold.

Buddy, 10, sweetest little boy you ever want to meet.

Okay so we are Disney veterans and will give you some good advice. First of all, the first time you go to Disney, lie about your kids age by about 2 years. That way, they will get cheaper rates. There are no age police, I think this is the first year Junior has to pay as big kid.

So we decided to finally book a deluxe, and of course chose AKL as it was the cheapest. We were a little worried about the animal stink, but we didn't notice any. Anyways, we check in around 4 p.m., and there is this jerky family in front of us just laughing and joking with the clerk, not paying any attention to people WAITING! We waited about 5 minutes, then the so called "CM" clerk motioned us over. (Don't get me started about what we call them, but the initials we use are DB) I told her I didn't appreciate waiting while she yucked it up with the family in front of us. She just pretended not to hear and said "Welcome to the Animal Kingdom Lodge" I knew it was going downhill fast. We did not get the bunk beds we requested, I am sure she was saving them for a family of her "kind", if you get my drift. Anways, so we then grab our luggage, cooler and two cases of beers (cause we are not stupid enough to pay a bellman to carry our stuff), and we trudge to our room. Now I must admit it was a good room. The boys were so excited, they just run out to the balcony. I swear I got misty watching them watch the animals. They discovered if they spit off the balcony, sometimes the birds will come over to see if it is food. So precious!

So we ice up the beers, drop the luggage and run to the busses. Tip number two... you don't have to wait in a line to catch the busses, just sit on the benches and jump up when it comes. We always get first in line. The busses were really crowded, and this guy was standing holding a baby and his VERY PREGNANT wife was standing, too. He gave me and my husband one of those "looks" like we should be giving up our seats! Hey, we got there first. B says to him "Hey, I didn't knock her up, what's your problem?" That got him to quit his staring!

So we get to Magic Kindgom and have to go through the stupid security and have our bags checked. Luckily we finished our beers on the bus so we didn't have anything we shouldn't... I think. So we get up to the guy and I tell him how stupid the search is and what a waste of time. He just says "Have a nice day". What an idiot.

Tip number three... you can butt in most lines. All you do if someone says something is say "no speekee dee english" This always works. Best lines to butt in, Jungle Cruise, Pirates and Space Mountain. It works all the time!

For parades, you don't have to stake out a place early. JUst wait till right before it comes and jump in front of a dumb looking family. Use the "No speekee english" thing again. The DBs never do anything about it... they are too "nice".

Anyways, we do all the rides we want and enjoy the parade. Unfortunately Buddy keep saying he has to pee. Well I am not leaving my front row space for the parade, so finally I just says to him "Why do you think God made bushes?" He got my drift and quickly took care of his problem.

We got back to the busses real quick (just push on through) and got back to the AKL by 10. We decided to pack our mini cooler and go watch the boys swim a while. It was great... we each had about 5 beers and didn't have to pay those crazy prices from the lodge bar.

Also, to the lady who asked me to quit smoking.. HEY ITS OUTSIDE! I can smoke where I want.. enough said...

Tomorrow: We go to Epcot, even though B says if he wanted to be learnt something we shoulda gone to a museum... LOL

LOL...I thought about writing one of these fake trip reports for April Fool's day but I guess you beat me to it!

:rotfl2: :rotfl: are you gonna include the part about using your Dixie Landings mugs??? Or pool hopping too??

Funny.... thanks for posting...

If this is joke, it really isn't that funny. If it's for real, it should be removed from the boards as it is very offensive. :sad2:

Hah! You got me for a second, but once I got to the part about the two cases of beer, and not being stupid enough to pay a bellman, I started chuckling!
