The Players:::
Me, DH, 36, Pooh Sized and will eat most things, slight allergy to milk and butter, Lactaid pills on hand.

DW, 30's, loves anything salty or steak!

Just back yesterday from a 6 day trip to the world and free dining, deluxe style. No pics, just the facts.

Thursday 9/18
1. Lunch, Rose and Crown.
Me
App: Mixed Green salad with warm bacon vinagrette...yummy salad with flavorfull dressing, lot's of little bacon pieces.
Entree: Fish and Chips...2 large pieces of battered cod and fries...can't mess this up
Dessert: unfortunately no room left over
DW
App: Samosas...pockets of spicy veggies with a sauce...wife thought they were too spicy.
Entree: Fish and Chips...she liked!
No dessert

2. Dinner, 'Ohana 9:30 ressie
With all of the mixed reviews lately, I was worried...apparently for no reason.
Service was awesome, salad yummy, wings yummy, broccoli-who wants that?, noodles...okay but bring back the potatoes, dumplings were yummy.
THE MEATS---shrimp, perfectly coocked and hot, pork had a tasty sauce on it, steak was perfectly cooked, easy to eat, and came out hot, turkey was moist and flavorful.
We have been to 'Ohana ever trip since 2004 and this is the best yet!

Friday 9/19
3. Breakfast Crystal Palace with Pooh
Good service, Good selection on buffet, characters!!!
I really liked the Pooh Lasagna stuff and the french toast stuff...I am allowed to eat it even though it is on the kids buffet...right??? DW said I wasn't.

4. Dinner, California Grill 5:30 PM
We arrived at 5:00 Pm and went upstairs. Great wine selection, Dw and I had a nice wine while sitting in the lounge enjoying the view and each others company. Right at 5:30, we were seated with a window table, view of MK and lagoon. Promptly Rob cam over. Rob, what a great server, is an original cast member from 1971, has worked at the CR since day one with a year and half at Coral Reef, and the best server our whole trip. Seriously, ask for him if you can.

App:I had these Crab and lobster cakes, 3 of them, served warm.I forget what they were called but they were yummy.
Entree: Melt in your mouth Filet...
Dessert: Valrhona Chocolate Cake and Apricot Ice Cream...again yummy
Wife
App: Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli, she seemed to enjoy, I thought it was ok.
Entree: More Filet...excellent
Dessert: I thought she had Creme Brulee but I do not see it listed anywhere...hmmm

Tell DW this is the one and only time she was wrong. Yes, you can definitely eat the french toast at CP that is in the kids section...I ALWAYS DO. I had four pieces two weeks ago and would have gone back for more if DH didn't give me that look.
